Today is Dave’s fathers 100th Birthday. We went down yesterday and set up the table etc. for a party today.
Dedicated to my dear friend Ken Krach. This morning I’ve learned that his father passed away. I‘m deeply touched, dear Ken. I’m with you and your family in my thoughts.

We had lunch at the Senior Center, and they gave all Veterans free lunch, a card, mug and a coin in recognition of their service. They gave Dave one to take to his father, Ken, who doesn't go out except to Dr. appointments now. He served in WW2.
Thank you to all Veterans.

I was lucky enough to adopt this lovely lady. My first KB and I couldn't be happier!
Last night I tested out a (much needed) de-frizzing method which worked like a charm! Less crusty, more silky :p

Kenners may be old but they're tough. These babies have survived tomato patches, extended periods of time in cedar closets (whatever that means) and various restorations.
That said they are quite fragile. Robin's legs are held on using knickers and tights as they fly off at inopportune moments. She also can't stand up without help (note my sneaky fingers)

I'm slowly but surely collecting all the versions of this sculpt because I adore it and there are only 6 Ken using it. I will only get 5 though, because the 6th one is Dia de Muertos Ken and I have no interest for him.
I'll make a group shot when I get them all. (I only miss one)
