I took these in Disney's California Adventure Sunday night. Having trouble logging on, so I will try to post more. 15mm fish eye used here. Caused this whole thing to wrap around. I had the most luck with this lens. And no tripod, could get it in.

The lighthouse keepers home is now an operating B&B and is looking fresh as a daisy. After revisiting this lighthouse 3 years ago, it too is looking fresh and restored after a recent renovation.
Finally putting costumes back on some of my gals. I'm trying to only dress favorite dolls in favorite outfits and leave the rest undressed to make parting with them easier. I've said goodbye to 2 crates full on evilbay this month...but no vintage yet.

In 2009, the Cape Hatteras Light Station, the principal Light Keepr’s house and the Light Keeper’s residence were all moved 2900 feet away from the Atlantic shoreline. They were set up in the exact positioning as they were on the beach. Seen here is the principal Light Keeper’s residence. Buxton, North Carolina USA

Leo and his wife were on a day trip to a local zoo, stopping briefly to marvel at the new exhibit, the human friendly keeper girl.
But Leo and his Mrs thought it very cruel to keep her locked up in a rotten old cage!
Instead they thought she should run free outdoors, and not be enclosed in a tiny box!
Times are changing, Its like Animal Farm when the animals are in charge!!!!

EN: The Miradouro do Cristo Rei, in Garajau, gives us an excellent view over part of the Bay of Funchal, the Garajau Reserve, the Caniço de Baixo and the Atlantic.
Located in Garajau, Miradouro do Cristo Rei, owes its name to the construction of the statue of Christ the King, which was erected as a fulfillment of the promise of Counselor Aires de Ornelas. The majestic statue is executed at the top of a hill that rushes in ravine towards the sea.
The statue, with its arms open to the sea as if to welcome us, was built in 1927 even before its most famous sister, located in Rio de Janeiro, dating from 1931.

Situado no Garajau, o Miradouro do Cristo Rei, deve o seu nome à construção da estátua do Cristo Rei, que foi erguida como cumprimento duma promessa do Conselheiro Aires de Ornelas. A majestosa estátua está executada no topo de uma colina que se precipita em ravina na direcção do mar.
A estátua, de braços abertos para o mar como que a nos dar as boas vindas, foi construída em 1927 ainda antes da sua irmã mais famosa situada no Rio de Janeiro que data de 1931.
