We struggled across Belgium and into Germany to Karlsruhe - a big holiday weekend just starting. Got a good pre-book deal at the Ibis in Karlsruhe.
The 21st Gulasch Programmiernacht (GPN21) was at ZKM (Zentrum für Kunst und Medien). Lots of great vegan Gulasch and other wonderful food, music, people showing and working on projects, cool art, lots of good conversations, and I gave 6 workshops over 4 days. KZM shows some cool films!

On our way to Strasbourg/France, we had made a stop to visit and spend some time in the Botanical Gardens in the city of Karlsruhe.....again totally fairy tale like! We both made a lot of pictures, but just wanted to share a few of the ones I took, just to offer a glimpse in to this beautiful place.

On a sunday in juli 2008 we did a folding bike tour through the Murgtal in Baden-Würtemberg. The Murgtal is a valley of the Black Forest, in which the river Murg flows to Karlsruhe.
On the previous saturday I did my own tour through Karlsruhe, following the Albtal, and continuing to Lauenburg on the french side of the Rhine, ending in Rastatt.

On the monday following the Murgtal tour, I spent a day in Karlsruhe, cycling around and visiting the beatiful parks.
