A XVIII. századi város központja a Kastély volt, melynek első része von Batzendorf tervei alapján készült el 1715-19 között. Harminc évvel később átépítés és bővítés következett egészen 1781-ig, lényegében Balthazar Neumann tervei szerint. A kastély trapéz formájú díszudvart fog közre. A kastély ma a Tartományi Múzeum (Landesmuseum) otthona.

Große neogotische Basilika im spätgotischen Design. Der Architekt Max Meckel hat viele neogotische Kirchen geplant.

Diese hier wurde 1895 - 1901 erbaut im Zeichen des Ausbaus

der Oststadt. Die Ausstattung der Kirche ist überaus reichlich.

Auch die Umgebung ist bestückt mit Häusern aus der Gründerzeit und hat reizvolle Straßenzüge.

Sadly the city centre of Karlsruhe is being rebuilt so I can only post the Evangelical Church at Marktplatz (built 1807-1816) behind the transport authorities headquarters.

Die drei Karlsruher Linien 16, 17 und 18 diesen ausschließlich dem Schülerverkehr von und zur Internationelan Schule im Stadtteil Waldstadt und verkehtren daher auch nur zu bestimmten Zeiten. GT8-80C 588 der AVG hat die Waldstadt bereits verlassen und strebt dem nächsten Halt Fächerbad entgegen.

Karlsruhe Palace was erected in 1715 by Margrave Charles III William of Baden-Durlach, after a dispute with the citizens of his previous capital, Durlach. Wikipedia.

Symbol of Karlsruhe

Mitten im Hardtwald erfolgte die Gründung von Karlsruhe durch den Bau eines achteckigen Turmes bei dem der Durlacher Marktgraf Karl Wilhelm am 17.06.1715 den Grundstein legte. Mit der Ruhe war es dann auch schnell vorbei denn es folgte das Schloß, die Verwaltung, die Ernennung zur Residenz; Bürger zogen hinzu. Baden wurde zum Großherzogtum (von Napoleons Gnaden) und Karlsruhe allmählich zur Großstadt mit heute über 310.00 Einwohnern.

Three live musicians from Germany / Karlsruhe, which can create a great atmosphere with rhythm, solo, bass guitar and cajon. They love the proximity to the the audience and prefer smaller venues such as bars and cafes.
