Lake Kara-Kel is located surrounded by high mountains and relict forest in the village of Teberda on the way to Dombay. The lake is small, but quite deep, in some places the depth reaches 11 meters. The lake arose after the powerful Teberda glacier retreated from the valley about 10 thousand years ago.
Озеро Кара-Кёль расположено в окружении высоких гор и реликтового леса в поселке Теберда по пути в Домбай. Озеро небольшое, но достаточно глубокое, в некоторых местах глубина достигает 11 метров. Озеро возникло после того, как из долины отступил мощный Тебердинский ледник около 10 тыс. лет назад.

After doing a senior session in Menomonie, WI on Monday, I got to hang out with the Carlson sisters, two of my favorite people ever. We did a quick shoot the following morning, and this is one of my favorite shots. I've been wanting to do something like this for quite a while, and finally got the chance :)
AB800 bounced into umbrella at 1/32 power. I know, a shot without my beauty dish? Crazy!
