Headshot for the supermodel.
This makeup room was lit on three sides with banks of incandescent bulbs, as you can see in the catchlights. I placed a gridded SB700 above and slightly behind the model, triggered with pocket wizards.
Pentax K-5 with SMC Pentax-DA 40mm F2.8 Limited lens with miniature Pentax K-5 camera on top (with 40mm M pancake). Picture taken with Panasonic GF2 and SMC Pentax-A 35-70mm F3.5-4.5.

We ventured out this evening to the open red bridge on the Seekonk RIver in Providence RI. We returned to the place we first shot back in June 2005 with a little more knowledge this time around =)
The group this time out was Skazama, Rizzolo, and Rltm401. Unfortunately we were missing threshold who was working late and preparing to be traveling early the next morning. Thanks to him for suggesting this location. At least the temps were not the teens we experienced that week.

Hydroxyapophyllite-(K). The mineral is a hydrous potassium calcium silicate hydroxide. It is the end member of a series with the much more common fluorapophyllite-(K). Structurally, it appears identical to fluorapophyllite-(K) and can only be identified with certainty by chemical analysis to confirm the absence of fluorine. Hydroxyapophyllite-(K) lacks anything more than a trace amount of fluorine. Wessels Mine. Kalahari Manganese Field. Hotazel, Northern Sape, South Africa.
