Why does Dylan jump for joy?
THE TUMOR IS GONE AND HE IS IN REMISSION!!!!!!!!!!!
Treatment continues, however, since this is his third time with cancer. He has more chemo, radiation, and a new drug called Glivek. We aren't taking any chances this time!!
I had to take advantage of this unusual outfit my daughter chose to wear yesterday. She's getting so tall, and jumps pretty high so it was several takes before we got her whole body in the frame!
She even managed to impress our cat, I think... :-)

Andrew likes to jump in pictures
I had the pleasure of photographing two good friends of mine for their wedding this weekend, Andrew and Kristyn Brown. They are a wonderful couple and I had a lot of fun photographing them. I wish you both the best!

What are your hopes for health care?
That's what we asked eight awesome speakers.
But Health Talks’ speakers didn't use PowerPoint presentations full of bullet points. They used the PechaKucha 20×20 format, where each presentation contains 20 photos and each slide is displayed for exactly 20 seconds before automatically advancing to the next one.

Shot this photo as part of an engagement shoot. Love how happy he looks here.
I know the horizon isn't straight but I already cut his finger off (grr) and if I straightened it, more finger bye bye :)

My daughters were in extremely high spirits while we were at the California Poppy Preserve near Lancaster, CA. It was a very windy day but they managed to jump up as high as they could. It was their idea to do a photo like this.

My daughter, who was blown away with gifts and treats, literally jumped for joy on her 7th birthday.

Although I’m a little sheep, I’m not tiny. Sometimes when I meditate I dream of a world where I am a tiny sheep, sneaking through tiny cracks in the wall, hide when evil people try to make me take a bath, feast on ginormous cookies and use my mommies ring as an exercise wheel.
I think it would be fun :-)

School's Out Forever! I got to attend another graduation ceremony today. This one was for Liberty Christian School and my Nephew Jeremy (who was School President this year) was graduating. This is not him but this young man was definitely feeling it as he came to accept his diploma. I've enjoyed attending these graduation's the last 2 days. Looks like the next one will be in 2 years for grandson number 2.
This was held in a church and the lighting was much better than the Fair Grounds building yesterday. I also used my 430EX II Speedlite with a little Vello Bounce Dome. It did help but hopefully I'll get an outside event soon. Well now that I think about it I will have one tomorrow when I'll be shooting my 3rd Memorial Day - Whiskeytown Regatta. Should be a fun day but I will be glad on Sunday to have a day off from shooting.
