Judges seated clockwise from top are Carolyn Rowell, Valerie Chittom, Ed Greene, Johnny Jones, Bob Green (Fat Back), Mike Reynolds and Chairman Phillip Wheat. They sampled over forty dishes looking for taste and ceativity.

In the 4-H Table Setting Contest at the Lancaster County Super Fair, youth select a theme and display one place setting, including table covering, dishes, glassware, silverware, centerpiece and menu. During judging, youth have five minutes to present their table setting to a judge. Youth tell their ideas, talk about their theme, and describe the ingredients and preparation required for all menu items.
Located in the heart of the National Historic District, the house is embraced with lofty live oak trees planted by the original owner, Judge Porter.
Just over 3,000 square feet, there are 33 windows in this house with 15 over 8 feet in height. These windows were commonly used as passageways onto the gallery. The ceilings are 11.5 feet and there are 5 fire places. The floors, which are all original to the house, are heart pine.
