泳ぐ宝石として世界的に有名な錦鯉は、かつて山間部の人々の食糧として飼われていた鯉が突然変異して生まれたと言われています。
冬は室内で鯉を飼育しますが、夏は棚池で飼育します。
Nishikigoi, famous around the world as a swimming jewel, are said to have been born from a mutation of carp that were once kept as food for people living in the mountains.
In the winter, koi are raised indoors, but in the summer they are raised in terraced ponds.
