I wonder if my Uncle John saw a poster similar to this in London? He joined the Royal Flying Corps as a carpenter. He was two years older than my father and would have completed his apprenticeship soon after the outbreak of war. Happily he survived and lived until he was eighty-two.

My first visit to Auckland since 1988 and it rained the hole time!
Day one of our trip away to Auckalnd and Northland, March 2012, New Zealand.
Viaduct Basin (often Viaduct Harbour) is a former commercial harbour on the Auckland waterfront, now turned into a development of mostly upscale apartments,office space and restaurants. It is located on the site of a formerly run-down area of the Freemans Bay / Auckland CBD waterfront in Auckland City, New Zealand. As a centre of activity of the 2000 America's Cup hosted by the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, the area enjoyed considerable popularity with locals and foreign visitors.
Viaduct Harbour hosts many fabulous events including the past America’s Cup defences, Louis Vuitton Regattas, the Volvo Round the World Race stopover March 2012.
The Auckland metropolitan area in the North Island of New Zealand, is the largest and most populous urban area in the country with 1,377,200 residents, 31 percent of the country's population.
Auckland has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world. In Māori Auckland's names are Tāmaki Makaurau, and the transliterated version of Auckland, Ākarana.
Auckland lies between the Hauraki Gulf of the Pacific Ocean to the east, the low Hunua Ranges to the south-east, the Manukau Harbour to the south-west, and the Waitakere Ranges and smaller ranges to the west and north-west. The central part of the urban area occupies a narrow isthmus between the Manukau Harbour on the Tasman Sea and the Waitemata Harbour on the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the few cities in the world to have harbours on two separate major bodies of water.

Ci sono molti modi per sostenere i progetti del Parco Archeologico di Paestum e Velia: sponsorizzazioni, donazioni, partnership e azioni di cause related marketing.
Il Parco Archeologico di Paestum e Velia riceve fondi pubblici per la sua gestione. I fondi, però, non riescono a coprire tutte le spese che la struttura deve arontare.
Tra gli obiettivi che il Parco Archeologico di Paestum e Velia sta portando avanti vi è un ambizioso processo di rinnovamento e sviluppo che, anche attraverso le nuove tecnologie digitali, lo pone al centro di importanti strategie di marketing territoriale.
Lo sviluppo del museo e dell’area archeologica non possono prescindere dalla costituzione di una rete fatta da persone, aziende, fondazioni e istituzioni interessate concretamente al recupero del patrimonio storico-archeologico e alla diusione della cultura.
Questi attori impegnati sul territorio potranno partecipare alla realizzazione della mission e dei progetti del Parco Archeologico di Paestum e Velia con un notevole guadagno in termini di immagine.
Dal 1998, Paestum è patrimonio mondiale dell’UNESCO. Dal 2014, nasce il Parco Archeologico di Paestum come istituto autonomo del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali. Nel 2017, l’area archeologica e il museo di Paestum sono stati tra i siti archeologici italiani più visitati, con 441.037 visitatori e lo stesso trend positivo di ingressi è stato mantenuto anche nel 2018. Questo dimostra che c’è grande interesse verso la storia che Paestum ancora conserva. Il Parco Archeologico di Paestum
si distingue per un patrimonio archeologico unico al mondo, con i templi di Nettuno, Hera e Athena, magnificamente conservati, e la straordinaria Tomba del Tuatore.

Combine the shallow-depth-of-field with Sony NEX-6's latest face-tracking auto focus, and you can see how the moving video keeps the model's pretty blue eyes in focus, while blurring the background! The Sony Alpha NEX 6 has much better bokeh than the cameras I have been using! :)
