One of my favorite bayshore spots. Friendly neighborhood place with great food. Get an Italian hot dog or a pork roll sandwich. Right across the street is a county beach and fishing pier with great views of Sandy Hook Bay and NY.
Joe listening to questions from our group while I play with one of the tilt shift lenses that his wife brought for us to play with. I'm definitely in love with a tilt shift lens.

Yankees Manager, Joe Girardi, seen during the ticker-tape parade up Broadway celebrating the Yankees' 27th World Series championship on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 in New York City.
This picture is a cropped version of a photo from cmdln taken during the Live Wingin' It recording at Dragon*Con 2006. I thought it was a good image of Joe. This is how I will always remember him. He seems like he may be about to make some Randy Innuendo.

Joe was one of the hungriest at the Feeders rail jam in Spokane last Saturday. Here's a textbook frontboard in a 30+ degree mall parking lot.
With each and every post, we strive here at Creative Tempest to bring you only the best artists from around the world. This post comes to you all the way from NYC, New York, with our artist being none other than Joe Jusko. What makes this artist so special is that it’s a safe assumption to say that the majority of people alive today have seen his artwork! His work includes paintings and illustrations for characters such as Hawk Man, The Green Lantern, Conan the Barbarian, The Punisher, Lara Croft, and Captain America just to name a few. Producing his first cover at the age of 17 for Heavy Metal Magazine in 1977, Joe Jusko is a comic book artist who has worked for all the major comic book companies including Marvel, DC, Crusade, Innovation, Harris, Wildstorm, Top Cow, and Byron Preiss. Graduating that year as well from the New York High School of Art & Design (the only high school in the country that offers a curriculum geared towards commercial art) he received the DC Comics Award of Excellence in Cartooning. In 2007 Joe Jusko was inducted into the prestigious Society of Illustrators and received the Certificate of Merit from them for his more recent work in ‘Tomb Raider’ (based off the popular PlayStation videogame). We’re happy to post such talent and vision here on Creative Tempest and hope you will share the same appreciation for great artwork that we do. Find out more at www.creativetempest.com

Joseph Satriani (born July 15, 1956)[1][2] is an American instrumental rock guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Early in his career, Satriani worked as a guitar instructor, with many of his former students achieving fame, such as Steve Vai, Larry LaLonde, Rick Hunolt, Kirk Hammett, Andy Timmons, Charlie Hunter, Kevin Cadogan, and Alex Skolnick; he then went on to have a successful solo music career. He is a 15-time Grammy Award nominee and has sold over 10 million albums, making him the biggest-selling instrumental rock guitarist of all time.[3]
In 1988, Satriani was recruited by Mick Jagger as lead guitarist for his first solo tour.[4] Satriani briefly toured with Deep Purple as the lead guitarist, joining shortly after the departure of Ritchie Blackmore in November 1993.[5] He has worked with a range of guitarists during the G3 tour, which he founded in 1995.[6] Satriani has been the guitarist for the supergroup Chickenfoot since joining the band in 2008.
Mateusz Perkowski.Joe Orcutt catches up on some pruning at Hood River Lavender Farm in Odell, Ore. Orcutt and his wife, Diane, lease only 4.5 acres but produce 60 varieties of organic lavender for soaps, lotions, balms, perfumes, oils, culinary ingredients, teas, chocolates, pillows, teddy bears, and much more. They not only grow the crop, but create the value-added commodities themselves - the trick is finding enough market niches to sell everything they harvest. "Even if I could produce 150 lb. (of essential oil) an acre, if I can't sell it, it doesn't do any good," Joe said.

#FlashbackFriday - Here's Joe Mathai, Research Programmer for the Information Sciences Institute, a couple of years ago enjoying his office in beautiful Marina Del Rey!
Joe the lion went to the bar
A couple of drinks on the house an' he said
"Tell you who you are if you nail me to my car"
Boy, thanks for hesitating
This is the kiss off
Boy, thanks for hesitating
You'll never know the real story
Just a couple of dreams
You get up and sleep
You can buy God
It's Monday
Slither down the greasy pipe
So far so good no one saw you
Hobble over any freeway
You will be like your dreams tonight
You get up and sleep
You get up and sleep
Joe the lion
