The James River as it flows into Springfield Lake. . .and within five minutes as the sun dipped below the horizon, the golden light and all the colours faded . . .
This view of the James River is located in Amherst County, Virginia. I took this shot last week while standing on the James River Foot Bridge, which crosses the river at the Appalachian Trail.
