I’ve heard that Windows 8 has a special feature built in, that allows you to reinstall the OS from ground up, so that your Computer feels like new.
As I’m jailbroken and have a lot of nice tweaks installed, I often run into the situation, that I only use 30% of the tweaks but don’t want to deinstall all the others one by one.
But when the system starts bugging and not running smoothly anymore, I go into iTunes and restore, after that it runs like a new one again.
So I thought it would be useful to have a similar Reset Button in iOS that fetches the .ipsw and then kinda destroys itself but in reality just restores…

Well... this photo has quite a long story... But I'll go ahead and cut it short.
After exploring and playing around with my iPod I decided to jailbreak it. For those who don't know, in sum, jailbreaking will allow you to install applications that are made by the community and that are not on the Apple appStore, even allowing you to fully customize your device with themes and sounds, in short, a must do for who wants to enjoy the most of these devices.
Well...After enjoying a jailbroken iPod for a few days, what happened is that I had a few errors, I tried to fix them but they didn't get fully fixed, so I went for the last resort: Delete all data and configurations, and then re-jailbreak. Result? After clearing the Ipod it was rendered unbootable... After hours of trying to get it fixed, in the end the only thing I could do to have it working again is a factory reset including 3.1.3 firmware, and now I cannot jailbreak my iPod....
Looks like Apple got it under arrest... at least until the next jailbreak is available for it.

Yep... That's a jailbroken 64GB iPod. The separate GPS receiver will probably be located in the overhead. This was my first design. The last one includes lenses to make selfie videos and security.
The Fahrenheit app allows you to view the temp on your home screen. Move2Unlock allows you to view it without even unlocking your jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch.

Jailbroken, but i only use cydia to get the multitasking and the backgrounder app, and idroid too (android port for ipod touch 1st gen, and iphone 2-3G). It's easier then hacking up the 4.x OS (but it's possibble too).

***Editor's note*** I just realized that the picture from the N95, while it seemed to transfer over as full-res, got shrunken down when it was added to the iPhone's camera roll. I thought CameraKit was working awfully quickly, compared to when I used native iPhone pictures... So while I get the benefit of the N95's autofocus and macro focus, I don't get the benefit of higher-res pictures once transferred to the iPhone (because the N95 has no cool photo editing apps, nor do I have a working data SIM for it for direct uploads)... SIGH. So much for kludging together better mobile phone pictures through the iPhone, N95, and jailbroken 3rd-party app iBluetooth. :( :( :(
Pic taken with a Nokia N95, then transferred to my iPhone via BT (shhh, it's a secret!) for post-processing and uploading. Oh, what convoluted things I'll do because I can't get an iPhone 3GS right now... :P
OpenNotifier is a jailbreak tweak that allows icons to be added automatically to the status bar of the iPhone. Android, Blackberry and Nokia have this as standard but for some reason apple decided only their icons for certain events were allowed. This tweak turns that on its head and is a welcome addition to my set of tweaks on my jailbroken iPhone 4S.
