The good stuff. A christmas present from a year or so ago, I guess it has been kept just because of the case.
As part of our anniversary trip to Nashville we drove south and took a tour of the Jack Daniels distillery. AWESOME! Totally free and one of the prettiest places I've ever been. I highly recommend it (even if you're not a drinker). If you look closely you can see us. About 8th and 10th from the right. Just to the left of the guy in the bright blue shirt.

I wish I could claim this was an original idea, I remember seeing a photo very much like this before and I wanted to re-create it. But I have been unable to find the original. If anyone knows of it let me know so I can credit the original photographer.

In 2012, DVL helped AmSurg launch the first ever National Colon Cancer Screening Day as the centerpiece of the campaign to engage centers and partner physicians across the county and get 1,000 first-time patients screened.
As a result of the campaign, Stop Colon Cancer Now’s goal for National Colon Cancer Screening Day 2012 was exceeded, and plans are underway for the second National Colon Cancer Screening Day in 2013.

While I was in Alabama, my husband found a package at the door and was quite surprised to open it and find this inside. The small company I worked for from Jan 2006 until Nov 2007 just celebrated it's 20th year in business. They are headquartered in Huntsville, AL, just down the road from the Jack Daniels distillery. To celebrate the 20 year milestone, the company president specially selected a single barrel of their finest whiskey, had it bottled and sent one to all the current and former employees in order for us to share a toast together. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but my just have to give this a try!
