This is an image of the new VIA EPIA-N800 Nano-ITX Board from VIA Technologies, shown with heatsink.
I replaced the mini-ITX PC with a Radio Shack A/V sender. This tiny device provided video downlink and remote shutter release by retransmitting the IR remote signal. The ground receiver and LCD display, on the right, is powered by a portable "jumpstart" battery. I used an Olympus C-410 camera.

I guess this picture is only for the geeks amongst us. In our effort to set up a system to which we want to connect 3 sets of keyboard mouse and screens, we encountered a typical case of hardware-does-not-what-we-want. In this particular case it concerned a videocard which sometimes worked, and sometimes it didn't. We decided that the casing was the problem, and hung the mainboard in the air, to be certain there was no contact with the casing. We were wrong. We now think the videocard is just b0rked.
