A 2"x2" acrylic painting on canvas for The Art Institute's "Itty Bitty" art show. This piece took about 2 hours to do the night before the contest deadline was up. I took second place overall.

My dad rescued this tiny fence lizard from the pool. Isn't he cute?

This flower was smaller than my pinky fingernail. So pretty. It looks like a teeeny tiny type of osteospermum (African Daisy).

Yesterday was a particularly hard day. I was having repeat panic attacks, and I had to start a new medication (to hopefully help with said panic attacks and all the stress I'm dealing with right now).

I drove around Athens aimlessly for over an hour, waiting for the medication to kick in. I felt another panic attack coming on, so I stopped and parked at what happened to be part of the North Oconee River Greenway. I got out and just walked around, trying to calm myself down. It was a beautiful day, and I got a little inspired, so I went back to my car for my camera (it basically never leaves my side) and I just started shooting.

It was amazing how fast I calmed down while shooting. There's beauty and inspiration everywhere. I wish I could bottle the feeling... or just spend my whole life taking pictures.

Frogs are a dime a dozen, but this lil' toad is worth a nickle all by himself.

It's Tabby night on Flickr. Tabby is in her first season as an Itty Bitty in Dazzlers. She really loves it and takes it very seriously.

(Yes there's a hair over her nose, yes I could fix that if I really wanted to)

my mom sucks at taking pictures.

all the others with us putting on the boutonniere/corsage are out of focus. -_-

oh, and my corsage was too big for my ittybitty wrist which is why it's turned around.

My sweet, sweet Haley Mama. She's not really a mama, but that's what I call her. She's almost 14 years old.

I used Rita's Texture tutorial on her CoffeeShop Blog and ittybitty textures.

Austin Area Birthing Center

8 pounds 15 ounces, no drugs

This is the only picture we managed to get off of our camera from Korben's birthday. (Thank God for Grandma and her camera!) I am extremely sad that we don't have any more of our pictures from that day! When I realized this is the ONLY ONE I decided to make it the picture of the day. It's SOOC besides compressing the file realllly small. I colorized it (PW) and added a little light-n-glow (ittybitty actions). All of the other files just got overwritten or deleted on the memory cards before they even got a chance to get transferred to the mac. The hours and days following his birth were very traumatic. I had my 6 week checkup this week with the midwife that manually removed the placenta and she told me that I pretty much could have died there from the complications with the afterbirth. I'm glad I didn't know that at the time.

I am going to use this one for his birth announcement (still haven't made them!)

Jack discovered our little mama hummingbird had her babies sometime in the night... so tiny!
