Once I got the basic design of the button down (let's call it a sort of square top hat) I spent a bunch of time iterating - making slightly different versions, jamming them in my pocket, and trying to get them to fault.
While I was doing this lilia was ninja chopping the code. We still need to develop how we process the signals. Signal processing, ah. What does a button press look like? How long should it send a signal for? How long should it wait before sending another one?

The department has been building up a library of design related reference books over the last few years. Pupils are encouraged to make use of these books on a regular basis. The photographs here demonstrate the tremendous wealth of content contained therein.
The sequence has been shot in such a way that the cover of the book is shown first and a few sample pages are included to give the student an idea of the content the book contains. Pupils may then approach staff and request a short term loan.

Next iteration of LCARS, meters have been moved to top section, and clock is now smaller (original large versions still available as alternate configs). The Notes app based on Kaeleri's Enigma Notes has been customized for this layout. And finally, the icon organization is done with Stardock's free Fences desktop customizer, set to light background, no title.

ZURB Wired 2015: Meet Downtown Streets Team, Downtown Streets Team is celebrating 10 years of helping the homeless transform their lives through their unique work and community beautification programs, in addition to providing assistance with housing, medical care and education. We’re going to help them by creating a brand new marketing campaign that includes a new responsive website, trifold brochure, postcard sized pamphlets for handing out on the streets, posters and some t-shirt designs.
The ZURB Wired 24-hour marathon is where our team and the team from one lucky local nonprofit get together to do something great in 24 hours. We spend the day helping the nonprofit solve a big challenge; whether it be marketing for an upcoming event, or completely overhauling their brand; and we get it all done in 24 hours.

I unrolled the main loop, with 16 iterations - still way too slow for flash player, what a had in mind was a fractal fill for actionscript

These are iterations of building a spaceship cabin. When I have the final cross section(s), I'll overlap the pieces to make a final "tube".
For my next build I'm documenting the process for putting together a MoC. Hopefully this will showcase various interesting techniques, and allow for y'all to contribute your ideas into the final design.

CAMP ITAMI, Japan - Yama Sakura 69 stands as the latest iteration of one of the world’s largest bilateral command post exercises. More than a 1,000 American and Japanese service members stationed throughout the Pacific implement cutting edge technology to fight a fictitious foe threatening Japan’s sovereignty.
As sophisticated computer programs project scores of simulated battles on hundreds of screens, a small yet expertly trained group of U.S. Army Soldiers, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) service members and Department of Defense civilians maintain and monitor a cohesive network that connects two Armies training across thousands of square miles.
Led by U.S. Army Japan, YS 69’s G6 section coordinates with its JGSDF counterparts to develop a reliable system that produces realistic training simulations while simultaneously establishing thousands of communication links that enable the countless phone calls, email messages and video teleconferences necessary to establish command and control of the virtual battlefield.
Since the team’s arrival in mid-November, G6 has overcome a myriad of challenges from internet connectivity to live video streaming to create a common operating picture that demonstrates the empowering partnership between the U.S. Army and JGSDF. Many members of the team will remain in Camp Itami in the days after the exercise's conclusion to repack equipment and reconfigure networks.

The latest iteration of a buisiness card design for Jodi's ETSY store, seams nice. It is an improvment from earlier versions where legibility was an issue.
The card echos the website’s banner. The front contains images of three kinds of objects that are crafted and sold on seams nice: stuffed octopod, books, and wallets. On the back is all of her essential information.

Successive deflations of a configuration of five kites (upper left) produce a kite and dart tiling with fivefold rotational symmetry. Individual tiles are shaded according to a sampling of the "pixels behind them" in a photo of Martin Gardner. The seventh iteration is shown twice at the end (the final image on the lower right is the same as the one to its left, excpet the edges of the individual polygons are not shown). This seventh iterate was used to create this portrait.

We rushed some areas of the redesign, and are finally rolling out some iterations. Today, a new homepage. Hello. erskinedesign.com/

This is using a very simple iterative approach, one of the many methods described here:
freespace.virgin.net/hugo.elias/models/m_ik2.htm
The downside is that movement is pretty robotic and not in a good way. Does the job though, but I'm trying a few more things.
It looks a bit extra robotic as it obeys rotational constraints on the joints and the approach I am using here will sometimes not immediately find a better solution for the joints if the solution is "far away".
