Fort Bragg Soldiers and Family members in the process of transitioning out of the
Army gathered at the Iron Mike Conference Center for a Job Fair, April 28, for a two day
event aimed at assisting participants meet potential employers. The event was
deemed a success by organizers.

Friday night at the Fort Bragg Fair found hundreds of people enjoying the warm weather, rides, and entertainment. The fair, an annual event at the Fort Bragg Fairgrounds, continues until May 15. It is open to the general public and the entrance fee includes unlimited access to the rides.
Paratroopers and senior leaders from 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving over a holiday meal at the 1st BCT Devils Den dining facility.
The 82nd Airborne Division Color Guard and Band participate in the Veterans Day parade held in Downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, Saturday. Military units from Fort Bragg were among the more than 100 groups that marched down Hay street.
The USO celebrated its 75th anniversary, Feb. 4. At the Fort Bragg center,
staff, servicemembers, volunteers and guests celebrated with cake, lunch and
giveaways.
Runners from Air Force Units across Bragg participate in the last hour of the 24 hour challenge, a run/walk lasting 24 hours, March 26-27. Runners logged close to 2000 miles during the challenge, meant as a memorial run for their fallen and injured comrades.

Volunteers enjoy a barbecue meal at McKellar’s Lodge during the Volunteer Picnic, Thursday. The picnic included entertainment, a bounce house, trackless train and door prizes. Last year, Fort Bragg volunteers saved the installation $17,473,478.40 through 723,240 hours of volunteer work.
