I consider myself one of the lucky ones to know the pleasure in seeking, playing and landing such a beautiful fish.
Some of each in Linear Park today. If you look at this Large you will see that the large rock on the far bank has a pleasant smile!

This huge tree that fell in many, many years ago almost seems to be park of Irondequoit Creek. Lots of water through there today!
The piece of land off at center-right used to be an island, with water flowing about equally on each side of the small football-shaped island. It looks as if some people, probably young, have built a fairly sophisticated dam, blocking off to great degree the water that flowed on the right side of the island.
If you go down to the other end of the island.....the plot thickens! It looks like maybe the same individuals have pulled a bench over to the end of the now almost-island. It looks as if, thanks to the dam, you might not need to get your feet wet to get to the island .. see picture below
Who says I don't take many pictures with people in them!? Here's one. :-}) Some telephone company employees on an elongated break fishing in Irondequoit Creek in Linear/Philbrook Park

I was fascinated by this flow of water here. When I was there in the park I spent about a half hour trying different shooting positions. Then, just now, I spent another 10 minutes trying to figure out which view to present. So I guess I will have to show one more after this. It WAS a magic spot!
