Finally got around to fixing my 40GB iPod Classic. It was given to me by my sister, but the harddrive broke a few years ago. I decided to replace it with a compact flash card that I had laying around. Had to pick up a Flash-to-IDE adapter though. It's now a more reliable 1GB iPod Classic+ :).
I was very impressed. No headphones but the system and safari were great, gmail worked, as did calendar. The typing was easy after a while, and pinching to zoom was soo cool

iPod and glass of wine.
Aer Lingus was leaving 4 hours late. There was not even an apology for the delay. 8 hours gets rather annoying at airport...

Love this photo. Should I say is an image since had to do a slight cut out?
Apple should hire me considering I've came out with a few ideas and slogans for the whole lovely media player collection. What! I can dream, right? xD If you wait 'til a brave monarch butterfly steps, u have time to.

My latest hack. 2 9volt batteries, 2 AA batteries, a firewire socket, and an altoids tin. total cost = 9 bucks. Store version = 60 bucks. ;)

I've installed the 2/22/05 iPod firmware upgrade via Software Update
and it has added many features previously only available in 4G iPods.
My bro's formerly jailbroken iPod Touch became corrupted and wouldn't sync, so we had to restore it. Upon re-connecting the iPod to the computer, iTunes gleefully reported that there is no SIM card in the iPod.
So my brother paid $299 for an iPhone, yet it doesn't have a SIM card slot? Too bad today isn't April 1st.
