yup, it's ironic how my iPod decided to die on me while playing "hypnotized" by Notorious BIG. i don't know why, but it just froze all of a sudden...sucks...oh well.

Lighting info: 580EX at 1/16 power camera left off of foam core. 580EX directly behind and above at 1/32. 580EX at 1/32 camera right. IR triggered. Setup below.
Black on black is tricky. Something I learned from Light: Science and Magic. For black products, if the product is exposed to black on a grey background, it looks like something black on grey. But if the product is grey on a black background, both look black. Shot on plexiglas since only direct light is shown, no diffuse reflections so it would stay true black, as long as I didn't have any the lights reflecting within the family of angles of my lens.
