WaKi SNAP! has been installed onto the iPhones/iPod Touches there so that people are free to try it out at the store.

Still looking to get that "encaustic texture" and not there yet! At first, I thought it a bit morbid to do a "mummy portrait:" of a child, but some theorize that they were painted at different times of people's lives and then the piece stayed in the home throughout their lives.
I made The Cartographer for my partner and I to use whilst travelling Europe in a motorhome.
When designing The Cartographer, I wanted to capture a romantic past when maps were works of art.

The nice thing about cross hatching is that it can be done quickly and accurately. Brushes gives you four layers to work with so an out line can be created underneath and the hatching created above the outline. The nice thing about this 'D' is that the right edge appears to slant upwards, an unintentional mistake and a better looking letter for it.

53202 27 January, 2010 Google\'s end run around Apple\'s App Store is complete: Google Voice is ready as a Web application.
Owners of the iPhone and Palm\'s WebOS devices can now get in on the mobile Google Voice experience with the Web app, which will run in the browsers of iPhones with the 3.0 software installed and all Palm WebOS devices, said Vincent Paquet, senior product manager at Google.
The application should be available for current users of Google Voice, which is still an invitation-only service, as of Tuesday at m.google.com/voice.
Google Voice allows incoming calls to ring mobile phones, office phones, or desk phones depending on how the user sets their Google Voice profile. It also treats voice mail like e-mail, transcribing voice messages into an in-box where they can be read and deleted.
Last year Google submitted a native version of Google Voice to Apple in hopes of getting the software onto the iPhone. As most will recall, Apple and Google then entered into a semantic war of words over whether Apple rejected the application (Google\'s version) or merely continues to study it (Apple\'s version).
Either way, the FCC got involved and Google Voice remains in App Store limbo, Paquet said.
\"We haven\'t had any updates regarding our native app for the iPhone, unfortunately,\" Paquet said. However, now that the Web app is ready iPhone users will be able to get essentially the same experience that the native app would have delivered, although the user interface will be slightly different because the application will be running in the browser.
Paquet declined to comment on whether Google plans to continue the App Store approval process with the native version.
The Web application is another sign of Google\'s strong desire to encourage people to think of Web-based applications as a ready alternative to native applications. The company has spoken about its plans for Web development at length, and even plans to develop a lightweight operating system based on its Chrome browser as a sort of proof-of-concept for the Web development mindset.

Las Vegas Nevada 07 January 2010 AT&T said on Wednesday that it planned to sell smartphones running the Android mobile operating system by the second half of the year, including Dellâs first smartphone.
The company said it expected to sell five new devices created by handset manufacturers that also included Motorola and HTC.
AT&T is the last major wireless carrier in the United States to add an Android-powered smartphone to its lineup.
Jeff Bradley, senior vice president of devices at AT&T, said that the carrier had been slow to adopt the Android system.
âWe hung back and watched the market very carefully,â he said during an interview after the announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show here. âWhen we saw the demand was there and the product was ready, we decided to bring it out.â
AT&T is expanding its stable of smartphones even though it has the exclusive rights to sell the popular Apple iPhone in the United States.
âAT&T needs another leg to stand on beyond the iPhone, which has been this pillar of strength for the company,â said Roger Entner, at telecommunications analyst at Nielsen. âIf and when the iPhone exclusivity goes away, they want to have a well-rounded portfolio.â
Mr. Entner said the announcement also was an indicator of how powerful Google, the developer of the Android mobile operating system, had become in the smartphone market. âIf consumers want an Android-powered device, it doesnât matter which carrier itâs on. AT&T doesnât want to be left out,â said Mr. Entner.
In addition, AT&T said it would also introduce two devices running on the Palm mobile operating system, though it did not reveal specifics. Palm currently offers two phones running on that software, the Palm Pre and the Palm Pixi, which have been available only on Sprintâs wireless network.
Recently, AT&T has faced considerable criticism by iPhone owners for delayed text and voice messages, sluggish download speeds and other network problems. Android phone users are also prodigious users of network resources.
Mr. Bradley said the company was repairing its taxed network by upgrading software to increase data delivery speeds and by erecting new cell towers.
âWe have been extremely focused on the challenges that the network has faced,â he said. âWe are going to make sure the network is ready and capable to handle all the new devices announced.â
