Nothing particularly interesting about this shot, I just couldn't ignore the colors. And iPhone makes it easy not to ignore stuff. You should see how many "not particularly interesting", but somewhat quirky images are sitting on my hard drive because of that!

Hi, guys!

After dinner I made myself comfortable to watch my favorite “World Fashion Channel”.

Guess what? Nowadays there are two most viewed directions: Ladies and Instagram.

So, today I am going to tell you about the most viewed ladies of Instagram, world-famous models, fashion and beauty idols, who you can follow on Instagram to be always aware of the latest greatest events of the best world models! Read more here blog.carde-app.com/2015/04/09/471/

A Heineken sign (never a bad thing), Baileys Irish Cream (don't care much for that one - too sweet to my taste), Opal Nera (never tried it, but considering its main ingredient is anise, I can easily imagine what it tastes like), Krug I think is a champagne and champagne is more about ritual than taste, but I was mostly attracted to the reflections in the store window, not to all the alcohol in it. Believe it or not.

I have posted a similar shot before...the one I took in Washington, D.C. I guess it makes this one even more cliche. And the bike was a bonus - I didn't plan for it...it just rolled into my frame when I was about to press iPhone virtual shutter button. Amsterdam is an awesome place for this kind of shots. The motorbikes are parked everywhere, so there are plenty of mirrors. If I am ever in Amsterdam again and have more time, I think I will go around checking out all the mirrors and taking a whole bunch of pictures with these little reflections. Could be a fun project. One more mirror shot is in the comments. HCS, everyone!

I have a bunch of these painted eggs...some are from Ukraine and some from India. You may have seen them before as I used them as a prop more than once. But today they make for my Scavenger Hunt "holidays cliche" entry. Those of you who celebrate Easter, have a happy Easter weekend. And HCS, everyone!

This is if I have counted correctly...which is highly unlikely as I am still too sleepy to count. Not good. Better On Black.

I post from the archives a lot! Mostly because pictures taken on any given occasion become old really fast if you upload just one at a time. But also because I don't have much time these days and when I do have time, it is too damn hot to go out and shoot.

So this is another one from a few months ago. I took it with an iPhone, but added texture in Photoshop. There are actually iPhone apps which allow you to add texture and they even have the same blending modes as Photoshop layers do, but I was too lazy to go through any additional steps.

Only "everything" got cropped out. :P

As they say in India, there are two categories of people in the world: those who saw the Taj and those who didn't. It is insanely beautiful and no picture can do it justice. Especially not when it is taken with an iPhone camera.

One more picture is in the comments section and it is not as self-explanatory. The guy there is my self-appointed guide for the morning. There is no way you will be left alone when you go anywhere near Taj, so it is much easier to surrender to one of these guys as soon as possible - saves time and energy. After looking at Taj the regular way, he offered to take me to a place where you can see it from the rooftops. I thought it must be somewhere around the corner and agreed. But it wasn't. It involved taking a ride on his motorcycle - on the back seat and without a helmet. And in crazy Agra traffic where cars and countless cows are all trying to run you over or off the road. My knee practically brushed against the side of the huge ox when he was making a sharp turn (my guide, not ox). We did get to the place in one piece and the view was really cool, not your usual touristy view at all - I'll post a non-iPhone picture when I am back home. But now I also know I am a moron because I did agree to this ride.

The City of Rotterdam is often described as the Dutch Manhattan due to the “familiar” view of skyscrapers that rise above the water on small islands.

Most characteristic view is the small island where the Hotel New York, the old Headquarters of the Holland-America Line Company now a luxury Hotel, is surrounded von new Skyscrapers.

this is my iphone shot, and edit

Considering I have been to 12 cities in India, it takes me some effort to figure out what picture comes from where (unless it is a picture of the Taj). I have to look at the date, go back to my travel itinerary and see where I was on that day. And I am pretty sure this is Allahabad...not that it matters that much. HFF, everyone!

A screenshot from Stevens Creek Software’s upcoming iPhone app, TripLog/1040. I’m not even sure where to start. My favorite little touch, I think, is the way “Frequent Trips” is wrapped across two lines because it didn’t fit.

Made with Lego Photo for iPhone - hat tip to Derek.

Maybe not this photo but this kinda makes me want to dig out my lego (yes, I have some) and actually use this as a blueprint to make some art.

If you are looking at this picture and wondering if you have had one beer too many, I say no. Most likely not....although I cannot guarantee it. And no, my office building - the one behind the red tree - is not about to collapse. Not really. But this is Sliders Sunday, so anything goes!

Taken and edited with an iPhone.

Taken with an iPhone 3GS using an app called Pro HDR. Some cropping, sharpening, and the white border applied in PhotoShop, but otherwise - right out of the phone at magic hour. The 'glow' was unintentional, but is totally cool.

Purrpurrrpurr... I just love it with all my happy heart, with all my curious nose, with my whole long-long hedonistic self from the tips of my whiskers to the end of my cutest tail:) An exquisitely delicious shot at the perfect cup! What a mouthwatering flavor! Actually, it is my great grandma who taught me to fancy this, ahem, not-really-typical-for-cats but so delicious creation of taste. Yeah, she would treat me to the very best green coffee still when I was a fluffy kitten. For quite a long time she used to live at a coffee roasting company owner’s place and her sophisticated nose, no fret, could tell whether coffee was wet processed or whether it was a “Natural”, full city roast with hints of chocolate and smokiness, bittersweet French roast, coal black Italian or Espresso wonders. I am back from India, but had no time or energy to even touch my pictures until now. This was one crazy trip, although surprisingly our absolutely insane 12-city itinerary worked...all flights were on time in spite of many rains and thunderstorms. And we didn't get stuck anywhere on the road in spite of some major flooding in parts of Uttar Pradesh. And the earthquake, which happened in India while I was there, happened far enough to have any effect. Of course, everyone but me say they felt the tremor. I am still waking up at 3:00 AM every night trying to figure out what city and what hotel I am in, and where is the light switch. But hopefully this will stop soon.

This is the entrance to the Red Fort in Delhi - amazing place with amazing architecture...I'll post a few more pictures where you can see it better sometime soon. But for now I'll stick to the fence...it is Friday after all! HFF!

Taken and edited with an iPhone. Better on black.

Made on my iPhone 3G with SketchBook Mobile, Brushes, the Mill Colour, and NPtR. Scene is of the Amalfi coast just north of Positano on my way to a lovely little restaurant whose name I can't recall on the water's edge only accessible by boat...I made a quick line drawing then that I used as reference here. It is said that reality is richer than the imagination, but I think I captured a piece of the mood of the Amalfi coastline after sunset...and a cherished memory of mine.

...second upload. Usually I am trying to avoid uploading similar pictures two days in a row, but I am too exited I caught this snow on Saturday, so you have to bear with me. Not much of a shot, but I like the falling snow!
