The Projector 電影院，其前身是 Golden Theatre 黃金戲院，成立於1973年，曾經是馬來西亞和新加坡區域內最大的電影院。但卻在1990年代之後沒落，變成放色情片和印度電影的舊電影院，終至結束營業。在2014年，幾位電影愛好者發起眾籌資金，成立了The Projector電影院，選片不分新舊、不問流行與否，只論是否是好電影。且特別保留了舊電影院的座椅，以紀念過去的美好年代。
