You can use the AlphaSmart Neo 2 keyboard as an external keyboard for your tablet. Here I’m using it on a 9.7 inch iPad Pro sitting on a wire folding stand, connected with a USB cable attached to a powered USB to Lightning adapter. I can power the iPad with it’s own battery or connect it to a USB battery pack or AC power. I have Pages running on the iPad.
This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama. I used one of my husband's snapshots as a source to build this. Having fun with tiaras, for no good reason.

One of my teacher friends at school, the art teacher actually, is really big into photography. I have bartered for one of her pictures. A matted photograph for an iPad cover!
So, I got my iPad on the 30th. It was a long wait to get the 3g when everyone was talking about their wifi's. This thing is great. I haven't put it down in three days. Other than doing photos, I haven't even been on my computer. Most of my tasks are done all on the iPad now. I haven't even messed with my iPhone either. This thing, for me, literally, almost replaces both devices.
One of the first apps that I bought was this RealRacingHD. Talk about fun. Put the Bose headphones on, throw on some tunes from the built in iPod feature, and race like crazy. Very, very, fun. If you have an iPad I recommend this game. There is a reason it is at the top of the App Store charts.
