It's been out for ages now and there have been far more innovative unboxings than we have time to compete with, so we decided not to document ours.
Except for that is, the one tiny tab that was all you had to tug to remove the iPad from the box and unwrap it. The must subtle yet obvious piece of product packaging UX we've ever seen / ever barely been able to see! It even sticks up slightly for extra accessibility at what looked like a perfect 45 degree angle. Madness. Genius. Geekeyness.
Good timing: my new Cowboy Studio remote flash trigger arrived just as I was getting ready to spend an hour shooting a bunch of gadgets for upcoming columns and things.
The trigger is a very neat object. It converts any flash into a wireless slave. The main light source here is the pair of daylight-balanced video lights that I normally use for the MacBreak podcast. But I wanted to "paint" the front of the battery pack. With the wireless trigger, it's easy to just aim my external flash exactly where I want the additional light to go, and then find the right flash strength setting by trial and error.
And the trigger's dirt-cheap. Especially for the effects you can get with it. I'll never have either the gear or the expertise to be a "real" photographer. But gorblimey, it's not terribly hard or expensive to acquire just a few items that let you trial-and-error your way into the photo you want.
Ipad sleeve covers with zipper closure. Inside is lined with white quilted fabric. Outside fabric is fused to a fusible fleece fabric witch gives protection and gives durability to the cover. These are completely washable!
The best feature about this case is that it can also be used as a stand for your iPad mini incase you want to use your keyboard to type or just want to watch a movie.

Well... not the best one ever. I tried to sketchnote an acronym I use very often in lectures about project management: firts letter of "Lovely Principles Move Rugged Souls" means Learn, Practice, Master, Revise, Share.
I took soooo long time and the result is so-so. I'll use it anyway!

Natalie uses her iPad to show off the character she developed during a character building exercise. All of the students used their iPads to record themselves, so that they could study their performances. It's just one way that artists at BLUR use the iPad to help them become better artists.
