Editing photos has become so much easier since I invested in a Wacom tablet - Intuos 4 in this case. It took a bit of getting used to after 20+ years of using a mouse - but well worth persevering.
Touching up portraits, selecting backgrounds, spot colour and various other tasks are now definitely faster and more accurate - should've bought one years ago.
Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.

For free software it works remarkably well (I definitely prefer it to lightroom).
Inspired by a visit on a summer day to the Palace of Versailles, this piece experiments with monotones, details, and baroque style images.

Software: Paint Tool SAI, IllustStudio
Hand painted with a wacom intuos 4 tablet, then using Alien Skin Snap Art more painting effects were added, things like brush stroke texture/blending, and canvas texture. I also used Alien Skin Eye Candy to get a chrome effect added to the name. The background is added by using a mixer of mixer brushes and a ton of time, the trick is not to make it look goofy, keep the pattern unique and not too repetitive
Joker is known for his breaking absolutely all possible rules :)
So I decided to be my relues breaker as well and used my Olympus E-520 DSLR for shooting and Pshotoshop+Wacom Intuos tablet for edit. But I also used my iphone for final framing :)))))
