The unique design of this table interlocks the wood and Plexiglas shelves through a keyhole cut through the middle of the wood slope.
The wood for this table is 3 layers of Wenge Wood Laminate glued and formed together over a mold that I made for the shape. After drying, the shape is sanded to fine tune and the keyhole is cut. The wood is finished with a clear lacquer.
The Plexiglas is carefully cut on the scroll saw and then sanded to fine tune the shape.
The legs are aluminum threaded posts.
This table’s dimensions are approximately 1 ½ inches tall on the high end, 4 ¾ inches long and 2 5/8 inches wide. This is one of my larger tables and would benefit from a good-sized dollhouse living room.

The origami model is 5 tetrahedrons that interlock into one ball shaped model. In this photo each tetrahedron is a different color of paper: yellow, purple, red, yellow, and orange. The edges of the tetrahedron are 3/4 of an inch wide and 8 1/2 inches long. They were folded out of heavy duty card-stock paper following instructions found on-line.
The artwork is suspended from the ceiling with a thread anchored to a transparent push-pin. The walls are off-white. The origami casts a shadow in the corner of the room from the ceiling light which is behind the photographer.

For anyone else who may try this pattern, I highly recommend using one of these to follow the chart.
The other staff were brilliant during the introduction of the planks and really got behind it. The kids would have done anything just to be with these fantastic young adults anyway - It was lucky that these particular young adults were inspired by the planks.
This interlocked building shows how interconnecting weight helps the integrity of the whole structure.
