This was a shot of Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee Line (as well as others!) of the London Underground. I really like the way the oval shape of the glass roof and surrounding concrete frame the escalators in the scene.

This year's Open House was not disappointing. A visit to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine led me to some interesting staircases during the tour. Hidden away all year, year after year...until now ;-)
This huge station is like an inverted skyscraper, reaching 50 meters underground. For the time being only line 14 stops here, from next year it will be joined by the new metro line 15...
