The Man in the Lab Coat

The interactive interface emerges out of 34 million pixels generated by 15 high definition projectors, supported by sound produced by 30 directional speakers. The multitouch capturing itself is based on laser technology, also called Laser Light Plane Illumination (LLP). This means more than 80 users can simultaneously get informed about news and activities around the ringworld. Now imagine the sorts of sparklines this device could display.

O2 Czech Republic’s "Streamline S16" OB van was recently delivered by Broadcast Solutions GmbH. The van will be used for the live production of Major League Czech Football and features a RIEDEL MediorNet network, Artist 128 intercom system, and RiFace radio interface.

This happens to me several times a day: someone posts a YouTube video on their blog and it turns up in my feedreader. Hmmm, should I watch it now or star it for later? Well, how long is it?
I don't know. The player says 0:00/0:00.
Starting playback just to get the running time seems really silly, and it actually takes a while. Pretty sure they could fix that.
