SMS added life and drew awareness to Bacardi's Grey Goose Vodka brand through a chic and innovative yet practical display. Because Grey Goose boxes are taller than they are wide, the product tended to fall over in stores. In order to retain the aesthetic appeal of the packaging, SMS developed attractive trays that successfully hold the product in place without interfering with the box design.
Behr needed to introduce a new mixable samples product to the consumer in a unique way. The fixture had to hold 175 pounds of merchandise, display three unique paint finishes and reinforce consumer project aspirations.
Baldwin came to SMS with the desire to create a unique display that would stand out within the lock aisle and promote their high-end line of products. They wanted to maximize the variety of styles and finishes that they could display and allow for components to be easily changed out with future market trends.
Schlage was looking for a display to feature their unique new Schlage LiNK product in the Builder Channel Showrooms that was portable and allowed the customer to experience the product in an interactive way.

This cabinet presents a diverse collection of small accessories for tools and organizes them for easier selection and to prevent spillage. This proprietary cabinet boasts interchangeable display mechanisms, as well as graphic channels to support the presentation of multiple brands in the Bosch brand portfolio, including Bosch, Vermont American and Skil.
Every 10 or 15 minutes, an interactive "Jumbli" game would come on, offering about 2 minutes during which a viewer can submit a response via SMS to the word jumble. I was only able to text in two during this segment. Will go back sometime to see if I've made the leaderboard...

In the second game in "Experience the Land", users can sprout seeds by waving their hands (or perhaps other body parts) over the seeds ... I'm not sure if continued waving helped grow the plants after they sprouted ... I accidentally hit the person next to me while I was jumping up and waving to get the high seeds :-(
at the Bosque del Apache visitor center, and it's a beautiful piece of work. The cranes fly, the mountain lion chases the deer, and this is only part of it!
I said to myself on the way into Bosque del Apache that this time I would LOOK at the birds and NOT take pictures. Yeah, right.
So once again, there are lots of photos to wade through. But modern technology can be wonderful and in htis case looking at pictures on flickr is better than sitting through one of your uncle's endless slide shows, you can just skip over the uninteresting bits. Skip away :^)

December 26, 2012 - Getting away for the holidays, and interrupting the posting of the Thanksgiving photos, which interrupted the posting of the summer photos. It's going to be a long Winter, maybe I'll catch up...
