Integrating Resilience into Urban Planning and Transport Network Design event at the International Transport Forum Summit on 23 May 2025 in Leipzig, Germany. Speakers include Benjamin de la Peña, CEO of the Shared-Use Mobility Center, Bruno Batista, Technical Consultant Former Executive Director, CNT; Burkhard Jung, Mayor of the City of Leipzig; Chiara Corazza, President of CCC and French Representative to the G20 EMPOWER Alliance and Hasan Almousa Senior General Manager of the Transportation Department, Riyadh Public Transport, The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC). The session is moderated by Geraldine de Bastion, Political Scientist. The session explores frameworks and strategies for integrating resilience into urban transport planning, promoting multi-modal solutions, demand management, and stakeholder cooperation.

An installation at Tate Modern in August 2023 by Rasheed Araeen "Zero to Infinity" which children and adults could interact with; the 'structure' periodically being organized into its original order then gradually dispersed again. Great fun to participate and to observe!

During the mid-to-late 18th century the great majority of the Dummerston landscape was dedicated to agricultural purposes, most notably sheep farming. This photo, courtesy of the Dummerston Historical Society, shows the town in 1870, when as much as 73% of the land was cleared. Compare this image with the heavily forested hills of Dummerston today. Take note of the stone wall running across the lower portion of the photo.
