Eminent Behavioural Scientist Prof K K Mehta, 84 years young, facilitated the integration lab for SPICMACAY at the sylvan Swami Ram Sadhak Ashram, Rishikesh.
The three day workshop was a way of exploring within and also with all other fellow human beings and volunteers of SPICMACAY, to be a better human being, volunteer and enabler. The workshop for sure has given a lot of insights to each one of us how to excel in life.
I wish more and more responsible senior volunteers come forward to be part of 4-5 more such integration workshops planned in the coming months. This will make the movement not only realize Vision2020 for SPICMACAY but also for each one attain all goals of our own self.

OPENmarx entsteht derzeit als Zwischennutzung am Areal des ehemaligen Zentralviehmarktes im 3. Wiener Gemeinde-Bezirk.
Als Projekt des future.lab und design.build studio der TU Wien entsteht in Kooperation mit der youngCaritas und dem Verein Vielmehr für alle, ein temporärer Ort der Begegnung und Integration, der den Austausch zwischen Flüchtlingen und der lokalen Bevölkerung ermöglichen und vereinfachen soll.
Eine Gemeinschafts-Werkstatt, eine Community-Küche, ein Seminarhaus sowie verschiedene Module für Freizeitaktivitäten werden in den nächsten Monaten neben dem Mobilen Stadtlabor, das vor Ort bereits als Basisstation fungiert, entstehen und Menschen unterschiedlichster Herkunft einladen, sich einzubringen und Teil zu werden.
Das Projekt wird von der ersten Skizze bis zur baulichen Umsetzung von 15 Architektur-Studierenden im Rahmen einer design.build Lehrveranstaltung in Eigenleistung realisiert.
Da seitens der TU Wien keine Budgetmittel für dieses Projekt zur Verfügung stehen, wurde soeben eine Crowdfunding-Kampagne gestartet.

Och det är sannerligen inte lätt att sedan våga vara sig själv (varken som transvestit eller "chefens son") - särskilt inte när man stöter på fördomar.

I made this piece of art after the first round of catastrophes and before the bottom fell out. The memory of grace flickered at the edge of the horizon and the demons came out to be named. In an unknown town on the cold side of the country, closer to my history and 3000 miles from home. While living out of a truck and squatting in someone's living room. With a dismantled life in my pockets and a queasy sense of possibility in my heart. In the span of time when it was clear that everything was undergoing transformation. My fiery old heart was erupting back into my loosening self; I could no longer defer the chaos of discovering which pieces stick when we are committed to becoming whole.
