The staff member was treated with about seven other treatments before and after this so we could get shots of all of the treatments offered. Massage, acupuncture, acupressure, Shiatsu...I'm sure she went home and slept for days.

Valeria MANCINELLI, Mayor of Ancona, awarded the 2018 World Mayor Prize
40-year-old Astrit Xhelali on the way to cultivate his field in Fier, Albania.
He returned from Germany in 2018. He works seasonally in various agricultural jobs, on his own land and abroad in Greece during the winter season. His fellow villagers call him the “master of agriculture”.
He lives with his wife, parents and two sons. One son is on the autism spectrum, while the other 20-year-old son helps him in the agricultural work.
The only reason why Astriti had taken the path to asylum was the support he could get for his son with limited abilities of autism, since there were no specialized services in the village. They stayed for 8 months, where he did a series of tests and examinations, but they couldn’t get financial help for the child, so in these conditions, they decided to return.
Since the Western Balkans were declared “safe countries of origin”, the region has seen a significant number of returnees from the EU. Still, Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia were ranked among the top 20 countries with the highest number of nationals with unregulated residence status in the EU.
Roma men and women comprise a significant share of this irregular migration, ranging from 61.8% in North Macedonia to 82.6% in Serbia. Disproportional social and economic hardship is a main trigger of irregular migration and asylum application of Roma men and women.
Those hardships are still there when those migrants return to their countries of origin. The most common challenge is employment, followed by decent housing and access to education. Lack of formal education makes it difficult for many to find meaningful work and poses challenges for the paperwork, registrations and services needed for a stable life. For those returning with children, cultural and language barriers can pose difficulties for youth who have learned another way abroad.
These challenges are profound at the local level where discrimination and exclusion are most perceptible.
UNDP's Reintegration of returnees project is helping vulnerable individuals across the Western Balkans by working with partners to implement holistic solutions to the economic and social empowerment of returnees. The initiative is supported by the European Union.

As part of a tour to celebrate and congratulate the teams that worked on Orion’s first mission around the Moon and back – Artemis I – mission personnel including NASA Artemis mission manager Mike Sarafin, NASA Orion program manager Howard Hu, NASA Orion-European Service Module Integration manager Carlos Garcia Galan and NASA astronaut Randy Bresnik visited establishments where the European Service Modules were designed, built and integrated.
This picture shows the award ceremony held at ESA’s technical heart ESTEC in The Netherlands, where ESA’s European Service Module team is located. An overview of the Artemis I mission was given with as-yet unpublished video and recognitions of merit were distributed to the teams.
ESA has designed and is overseeing the development of Orion’s service module, the part of the spacecraft that supplies air, electricity and propulsion. Much like a train engine pulls passenger carriages and supplies power, the European Service Module takes the Orion capsule to the Moon and back.
Launched by the first SLS on 16 November 2022 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida, Orion’s Artemis I mission lasted 25 days and saw it fly by the Moon twice. Passing as close as 130 km from the lunar surface, the spacecraft used the Moon’s gravity to sling it into lunar orbit and then later return it on course to Earth.
“The first European Service Module performed beautifully,” said ESA’s mission manager Philippe Deloo. “The goal of the first Artemis mission was to really test the spacecraft and put it through its paces. So we used Orion and its European Service Module to do manoeuvres and operations that we would not necessarily need for a crewed mission. But we wanted to really push the spacecraft on its first mission.”
Orion and the European Service Module exceeded expectations from the start, the four solar array wings produced 15% more power while consumed less electricity due to the spacecraft fluctuating less in temperature than expected. With confidence and great results stemming from the astounding engineering and knowledge in the Orion teams on both sides of the Atlantic, I’ve enjoyed being part of such an exceptional mission.”
Orion has gone farther than any other crewed spacecraft has before on the Artemis I mission, and European design and technology made that happen. The next Artemis missions and their crew are now getting ready for launch.

Faculty of Science, Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam – 2002 - 2009
The design for the complex involves the integration of a comprehensive faculty building within the Science Park in Amsterdam East. The contract was acquired through an international competition. The near 65.000m ² building was developed in close collaboration with Architecture Studio HH and Meyer and Van Schooten Architects. The building sections A, B and D primarily house laboratories and each have individual identities. The design task for section C called for a large and differentiated building that would achieve the right balance between unity and diversity. Section C mainly consists of offices and it was designed as an elongated “floating” building with two semi-enclosed inner courtyards. The main public space is formed in between the courtyards. Building C acts as the connector to the other sections making the building a unified whole with a certain monumental quality.
Interior design - In the open workstations are semi private office suites, created for four to six people by the placement of tall cabinets. The custom made cabinet walls are double sided and offer open and closed shelf-space, lockers for storing personal belongings, as well as black-or whiteboards. The bamboo framework binds these components together into a whole cabinet. Also the desks have been designed with bamboo tabletops. For the the 'common rooms' users could choose from several flavours.
Building D is one of three laboratory buildings, which surround office wing C. The building houses various laboratory types such as biology, chemistry and physics labs, in particular the latest must withstand severe vibration requirements. It also houses a number of educational rooms.

The integration between PLM and MES allows production personnel to initiate a problem or nonconformance workflow in Teamcenter which includes a complete data package of the current state of the execution process.

It is sequel to the Awoshie – Pokuase Road and Community Development Project financed by the Bank.
The Development goal of the Accra Urban Development Project (AUTP) is to promote sustainable economic growth, enhanced inclusive urban development and reduced poverty whilst promoting trade and regional integration.
