This giant tree was installed by the Do Lab, to cover the sound stage. The bass rippled through the branches of the tree and the struts of the dome frame, creating a magnanimous sound that passed through all those in range. The dome structure acts as an upside down amphitheater and can cast sound that is far-reaching, along with the spectacular sound system installed within. This is definitely a favorite of Coachella Festival-goers.
made this cabinet for a flat screen TV. Customer bought the lift and television and asked me to make something around it. Some of the panels are removable to access the wiring and cable box. Also there is space to mount a surround speaker inside.
The veneers are walnut and rosewood all laid with the old technique of "Hammer veneering"
