Toward the north end of the Campus Martius, along the via Lata, there stood a tremendous column dedicated to Marcus Aurelius. The column was erected in 180 CE, shortly after the death of its namesake emperor, and still stands today along the via del Corso. Like the more famous Column of Trajan just up the street, the Column of Marcus Aurelius was carved with spiraling reliefs which depict the emperor's second century campaigns against the Germans and Sarmatians. The column was once the vividly colorful standout feature of a group of commemorative structures which once occupied the immediate area.
The sepulcra and temples depicted here represent the final subsection of my Phase III efforts. In the past four months, we have examined hundreds of structures throughout the Campus Martius region. These all-new additions to the ongoing SPQR diorama have been fastidiously documented over the course of these fourteen Design Insights posts; and it's my pleasure to bring you the final insights into Phase III design + research efforts.
Don't miss this all-new DESIGN Insights post highlighting Phase III of my ongoing efforts to build all of Ancient Rome, circa mid-4th century CE!
š These insights are EXCLUSIVE to Corinthian patrons, and peel back the curtain months before these designs will be shared publicly. The renderings, on the other hand, are shared with patrons of all tiers.

My 8 stud wide Speed Champions style MOC of the Batmobile from the movie THE BATMAN (2022).
I wanted to build this vehicle since the first photos from the movie came out. Itās been in works for more than a year now and currently itās in a star that Iām pretty happy with. My main goal was to make the most detailed version possible with the most accurate proportions.
Started out from the purple Dodge Challenger of the Speed Champions Dodge double-pack because the shaping is similar to a 70s muscle car. I went for a 9 stud wide design since the in universe car is quite wide.
The biggest challenge was the V8 engine at the back with all the around it, but I love how it turned out.
The interior has place for one figure, just like the real one, due to all the machinery on the right side of the cabine. I worked hard to represent all the tanks, instruments and supports of the interior, based on reference pictures. I designed the dashboard with the same pieces like the offical set, so the stickered parts can be used there.
The other bid challenge was to include the different bars of the rollcage in accurate position.
The flame pieces add a nice dynamic effect all around the vehicle and I used glow in the dark pieces for the headlights for more fun.
Iām really happy with this MOC, I hope you like it also! (Now I just have to make something to complement it š)

Awwwstronauts - Cargo Transporter šš
For Brickworld Chicago 2022, I joined in a collaborative led by Dan Church for what became named Awwwstronauts - an OrphanLUG collab centered around the Target-exclusive plushie classic space figs that were released around Christmas of 2021. Other name options for the collab included: Plushie Space, CuddleTron, and Benny's Buggy Brigade. Everyone did such a fantastic job! Just took me a while to post mine as always š
To design mine, I first built the chasis as laid out by Dan and tried to figure out how I could lock in the plushie as all limbs or appendages want to snap back into place. I built a cage to lock his legs and hands in so that he sits upright and the rest was built out using SNOT paneling. Tried to stick to the traditional classic space color theme - hopefully you can tell those little cubes are crates/boxes the plushie is driving around. All the vehicles including mine do move via remote control so check out the video! Moves with PoweredUp and Technic Control+.
Collaborators include:
Daniel Church - Classic Space Rover & Personal Transporter
Ted Andes - My First RC Rover
Adam Myers (getdamonkey) - Strapped-In Trike
Graeme Dymond for the bulk bricks used for the display at Brickworld and Adrian Drake for helping put it together!
2024 Brickworld Chicago Gugick šš„
Per Brickworld tradition, here's my Gugick design for Brickworld Chicago 2024: "Die in Your Arms Theater"
For those unfamiliar, as the legend goes, Arthur Gugick, the 2011 Brickworld Master, trolled everyone in 2012 as he placed hundreds of 30169 Scorpions all over the displays on Saturday night of Brickworld. However, that same year, Simon Liu was crowned the new Brickworld Master and became subsequently inspired to continue the trolling tradition...although more extreme. In 2013, Simon launched his frogpod galactic conquest, the tradition was cemented, and the rest is history. The name Gugick was given posthumously in honor of Arthur after his passing.
Gugicks have taken various forms: cool microbuilds invented by the master (e.g. Simon Liu, Jeremy Moody), a build representing the master's build style (e.g. Nick Jensen, Amanda Feuk, Rocco Buttliere), or a micro-version of a build from their winning year (e.g. Tim Lydy, Mark Larson).
As the returning BW Master of 2023, "Die in Your Arms Theater" falls into the latter category (mostly) of a build from my winning year. Since Die in Your Arms won Best Vignette, I thought that represented me the best. However, since I cut my LEGO teeth at the Brickworld Film Festival from 2014-2017 before focusing on static displays, I got a lot of input that I should incorporate an animation into the Gugick. We explored trying to do a mini-LED screen to loop an animation, but unfortunately the price was astronomical. Thankfully, the lenticular sticker splits the difference.
I still remember going to Arthur's advanced mosaic class during one of my first Brickworlds (2011/2012?) at the Westin so it's a huge honor and privilege to continue in this tradition and add my little piece to Brickworld / LEGO fan history.

During a brief stint in Washington D.C. in 2023, I spent the better part of a summer evening exploring the grounds of Capitol Hill. Few landscapes invite as much inquiry along winding paths paired with plenty of moments for quiet introspection on marble benches; all in picturesque view of the Capitol dome. These on-site experiences are exactly the form of anecdotal justification I seek when considering whether to recreate such monumental places in the first place.
In tackling any work of such storied precedence as the US Capitol, I always seek to expand the conversation beyond existing works in the medium of plastic bricks. While the consistent 1:650 scale among my works has always ensured some level of originality, it is no guarantee of further insight that cannot already be gleaned from existing works by other artists. With this in mind, I set out to capture the full 100-acre site currently maintained by The Architect of the Capitol. What's more, the diorama depicts a particular time of year - specifically late March to early April - as illustrated by the iconic presence of hundreds of cherry blossoms rendered in two shades of light pink.
The diorama starts downhill at the trapezoidal Capitol Reflecting Pool, with the Grant Memorial taking pride of place along its eastern edge and the US Botanic Garden across the street to the south. The diorama expands from there, capturing the radiating pathways meandering uphill, as designed by Frederick Law Olmsted within the parcels laid out in the city plan by Pierre Charles L'Enfant. The piece culminates with the widely imitated US Capitol Building, perched atop a plinth projecting from the Capitol Visitor Center on the opposite side.
Topping everything off is a custom-made representation of the Statue of Freedom (as designed by Thomas Crawford), steadfastly overlooking the National Mall from atop the dome. The statue was designed in collaboration with BigKidBrix and was sized comparably to the minifigure statuette / trophy element.
The piece was designed over the course of about two months: first in December 2023 through January 2024, paused during the build-out of SPQR - Phase II, then resumed between March and April. The build-out lasted from July through August and was completed by September. The piece will soon be added to my personal gallery of works, now available for touring exhibitions.

This is my moc presented on lego ideas, Below some information on the model.
Welcome in Venezia
The Idea:
I decide to develop a monument of my country, it could be a mix between an architecure model and a creator model. It is an iconic monument of Venice.
The model info:
The model is scaled 1 to 100 to real measure. The span of bridge measure are 28 stud (cm) as the real one. There are twentyfour commercial shop and boutique, all windows and doors are openable and you can see through. I propose a mix between two different type of lego, the first one an architecture model where you can appreciate the structure of the bridge, the second one as a creator model where there are scenes of the daily life in Venice. One gondola and its Gondoliere are surfing the canal. The scale of microfigure shows us how big is the Rialto Bridge.
Data:
Dimension : 50 cm x 40 cm x 24 cm
Microfigure: 1 gondola 9 microfigure
Bottega: 24 commercial shops
The arches of shop are different between internal and external two different tecniques
Thank you very much for your attention!
