I walk through Foley Square very often during my trips between home and the office, so I had the thought to shoot a 360 clip here before the wooden sculptures went away. The sculptures are salvaged Eucalyptus trees and the installation by Jaime Miranda-Bambarén is called 13 Seeds.

Premiere is failing to save this as a 360x360. This is supposed to be a 360x360 degrees video (which I made some random music to add to). Are you able to see the 360x360 view by swiping around as I walk around to the yachts and marina? Facebook is playing music but the video is frozen when I’m testing playback. Testing on YouTube too. This new camera allows us to see the WHOLE Storm. Don't be fooled by the views in this video. We were/are closer than you think.
Early April... With a RARE 5% tornado risk that day which would turn out to be a bust. However... If we wanted to see anything good that day I knew I had to get us there early. Be on top of these storms as they formed.
On time & up close & personal on this chase. We wanted to get right along side as she passed to our due west. To keep it simple.. Winds that day on the lowest level were cutting the base of this storm. No possible formation of a tornado out this storm. But it was cool to see the crazy tight inflow this thing was sucking up all that dirt & dust. Along with the 60+ mph winds, as we survived this one! Got to view a mighty kewl Nebraska TBoomer!
No tornado this day. This Storm was the first & the best footage from that afternoon. Bust on the 5% Tornado Risk that day. So we basically call this a few test runs before the real fun begins in 2024...
