I put my coat on, and took this last pic just before leaving. I left the house with my umbrella, but without my money... So I first started the car, drove out but realised then I had no money with me... So I needed to go back inside to pick it up...
Nerves? Nnnnooo wwway... :-)
This, for me, is probably my more subtle make-up. Any less make-up.. and the boy inside will start to become really visible.. :P
Hoy ha sido mi único día libre de esta semana , así que he decidido quedarme en casa y hacer un "Face Down Tuesday" (FDT) con lo que tenía a mano.
Me gustan las miniaturas de colección a escala 1/72 (una medida muy rara por cierto), y de entre todos los coches clásicos que tengo, esta VW me ha parecido la mejor candidata para tumbarme boca-abajo. ;-)
Una furgoneta de 4 metros reducida a poco más de 3 centímetros no permite un trabajo rico en detalles, pero la marca Schuco a veces desarrolla buenas réplicas a pesar de lo comprimido del tamaño final.
¿Conoces este divertido grupo de locos fotógrafos que siempre están boca-abajo? :)

On the walls are large and expansive frescoes that depict battles and military victories by Florence over Pisa and Siena.
The ceiling consists of 39 panels also constructed and painted by Vasari and his assistants, representing Great Episodes from the life of Cosimo I, the quarters of the city and the city itself and towards the center is the apotheosis : Scene of His Glorification as Grand Duke of Florence and Tuscany.
On the north side of the hall, illuminated by enormous windows, is the raised stage called the Udienza, built by Bartolommeo Bandinelli for Cosimo I to receive citizens and ambassadors. Above are frescoes of historical events; among these, that of Boniface VIII receiving the ambassadors of foreign States and, seeing that were all Florentines, saying: "You Florentines are the quintessence".
In the niches are sculptures by Bandinelli: in the center the statue of the seated "Leo X", and on the right a statue of "Charles V crowned by Clement VII".
There are also numerous bombastic Medicean tapestries on the walls, including Stories of the Life of St. John the Baptist, taken from the frescoes of Andrea del Sarto.
The six statues along the walls that represent the "Labors of Hercules" are by Vincenzo de'Rossi.
In the central niche at the south of the Hall is Michelangelo's famous marble group the "Genius of Victory" (1533-1534), originally intended for the tomb of Julius II. The statue was taken from the Bargello Museum.
What is it that we are all looking for? Is it someone to love with all of the love we can muster up inside of ourselves? Is that the dream that we all dream? To find someone who will love us will all of the passion in their heart? Someone who will reciprocate the love that we give to them in every way?
Or is it really that we long to be appreciated for who we are... for what we are... for what we have overcome and for what we have achieved?
As I mature in years and in wisdom I understand that it's not too difficult a proposition to fall in love... it's more challenging to maintain that love and to keep the fire of pasion burning and the flames stoked with the growing together that results from the soft and tender shared moments in life... as I come to understand so much more about myself and the world... what I have come to understand is more than the quest for love... that obtaining a partner who appreciates you deeply and sincerely is the 'holy grail' of relationships.
There is no satisfaction so deep as to open yourself up to another human being in complete honesty and to have that person truly appreciate you.
To be appreciated is to be loved.
I don't usually take photos of food, but, this was so colorful that I just had to take a photo. Of course, after taking the photo, I devoured my "colorful" meal !!

Comments and criticism good or bad always welcome but since I never entered any kind of contest, I don't need any cheesy 80's glittery banners, signs, icons, huge photos or awards! They look like shit and are ridiculously tacky and annoying! They get removed as soon as I see them so please don't even bother. As per mentioned, Bobbert came with me to the hotel for the 2 nights i stayed there. There was a jar of cat treats right on the counter in the hotel :) He was very confused as to where we were and why we there; in the 3 years that Bobby Joe has been on this planet he as never once been alone, he didn't even get his own cage when he was neutered! I think he missed his brothers and sisters!
Bobbert's favorite color is white, b/c it matches everything he wears :) So all week he has been trying desperately to wear this dress, along with the slip underneath. For obvious and understandable reasons, i have been firm (something he's not used to) all week in saying no. I swear he's mad at me in this photo for not letting him wear it first!! Lol.
The first case was a gift from my sister, Wanda, and contains the most marvelous dolly accessories. The second case I found at a yard sale and contained hairbrushes, combs, mirrors etc. The third case was empty and once housed a 2-speed, 45/78, electric phonograph, model #220 made by Spear Products, Inc USA.

In questo scatto ho voluto racchiudere tre delle mie più grandi passioni.
1- Leggere. Chi mi conosce sa quanto ami perdermi tra mondi fantastici ed amori impossibili
2- La musica. Non potrei mai andare in giro senza il mio i-pod: non c'è niente di meglio che costruirsi la colonna sonora della propria vita!
3- La fotografia. La Canon è nuova, ma la passione c'è sempre stata.
PS: Non avevo una penna abbastanza bella, altrimenti l'avrei messa in modo da rappresentare lo Scrivere :)

2-Music. I couldn't go out without my ipod as music is a part of who I am and gives me reasons to feel better everyday
3-Photography. I've just bought my new camera but I've always love taking pictures!

O Mercado Municipal de São Paulo, inaugurado em 1933, é um importante entreposto comercial de atacado e varejo, especializado na comercialização de frutas, verduras, cereais, carnes, temperos e outros produtos alimentícios. O Mercado localiza-se no centro antigo da Capital Paulista, sobre uma área ganha ao Rio Tamanduateí, na Várzea do Carmo.
O edifício, em estilo eclético, foi construído entre 1928 e 1933 pelo escritório do renomado arquiteto Francisco de Paula Ramos de Azevedo, sendo o desenho das fachadas de Felisberto Ranzini. No interior, magníficos vitrais de Conrado Sorgenicht Filho mostram vários aspectos da produção de alimentos.
O entreposto foi totalmente reformado em 2004, na administração da prefeita Marta Suplicy. A fachada foi recuperada, os vitrais foram restaurados e foi construído um mezanino, de autoria do arquiteto Pedro Paulo de Mello Saraiva, com diversos quiosques de comes e bebes. Graças à reforma, o Mercado é hoje um ponto de encontro dos paulistanos. Atualmente está sendo construído um estacionamento subterrâneo para facilitar o acesso dos visitantes.

i bought this plain white paper lamp from ikea for something like 2,5 euro.
I used watercolours to paint it, then i found this little basket that had fake flowers in it, used yellow thread to hang it from the lamp, printed a boy and a girl and put them inside the basket!!

An amazing place...Southwark Cathedral.
It's fantastic that photography is permitted inside (for a nominal donation) - a bit of a rarity for a London cathedral. Well worth a look around if you're ever passing by.

For those who don’t know, Plastic Man is a stretchy DC superhero similar to Mr. Fantastic. However, Plastic Man is more humorous and has the ability not just to stretch but to transform into any shape. Read more about Plas on Wikipedia.
While looking for comics characters to Lego-fy, I came across this classic Plastic Man cover. I loved the idea and decided that I would have to make it. I’ve been slowly building Plas for some time, but the LUGnuts contest inspired me to finish him up. I figure mine will probably be the only hero vehicle where the hero is the vehicle.
Construction-wise, Plastic Man is surprisingly stable, even with his huge head. I’ve included wheels underneath so he can roll even though his treads are non-functioning. There’s room for a fig inside, just in case Batman wants to climb in and drive one of his teammates.
Plastic Man will eventually be integrated into a scene for my Justice League Museum project.
