For the new Macro Monday Theme Sweet Spot Squared, I looked in my candy drawer inside the livingroom capboard and look what I found, A donut from the Wirgleys EXTRA advertisment. and some white chocolate and candy canes.

It's a toy spinning top
Looking down at the debating chamber of the Bundestag, the german parliament from the spiral walkway in the dome.
The mirrored cone in the center of the dome directs sunlight into the building, and so that visitors can see the working of the chamber.

Boston Public Library
Even though I lived in Boston for a few years when I was younger, I had never been inside the library. I was very impressed. Good thing I had my trusty Nikon 1 with me. The good thing about the Nikon 1 is how quiet it is and it's small size. The bad is that it's not great in low light. My regular DSLR would have sounded really loud in this quiet place.
Love the beams of light streaming through the window of the dome in this beautiful church and the single woman in one of the front pews.
The Chiesa della Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini (Church of the Most Holy Trinity of Pilgrims) is a church in the historic city centre of Rome. In the Regola rione, it neighbours other important historic buildings such as the Palazzo Farnese, Palazzo Spada, Ponte Sisto and the Via Giulia.
