This interior doubled for a Gotham City court building in the 2005 film Batman Begins.
Here's a shot of last night's super bloodmoon eclipse, framed inside one of the San Francisco Bay Bridge towers.
Apparently we won't see another one of these until 2033!
I had a fun time shooting Archie and Lindsay Noble, after the more traditional photo's we did something a little more fun.
*Lighting*
Strobe with 60x30cm softbox front right.
Two speed lights, one at the left and one inside the cupboard door next to the oven vent (removed in post, using a second shot with the door shut).
*note* sensor shift was used in this image at +24/0

So after the spring obsession, I went back to home studio and took some smoke shots again. I tried a couple of different things today. First to shoot steam instead of smoke. Steam unlike smoke is not thick enough so it produces a streak that is not very hard or I should say full of grains. So poured the hot water away and inserted some incense balls inside the cups. These balls were already lit before I dropped them into the cups. As usual the cups and the smoke or different pictures.
Strobist Info:
I used a Canon 580 EX II at 1/8th power and 80mm zoom. I used a Canon 100mm macro lens on a Canon T1i body. I also used snoot to direct the light on the smoke. The smoke was later inverted and colorized in Photoshop. To see the detail setup and how to do this shot? go here.

The good ol' square crop, I must admit I am slightly addicted to the perfect square crop, it just seems to be the right look for what I want!
Today I was cleaning out some random boxes from one of the closets and I found so many things that I've been searcing for! It was insane how much pointless stuff was in there, but there were also so many things that I've been thinking about and unable to find, it was like a treasure hunt!
