Roberto SavianoRoberto Saviano (Napoli, 22 settembre 1979) è uno scrittore e giornalista italiano. Nei suoi scritti, articoli e nel suo libro, Gomorra, romanzo d'esordio, usa la letteratura e il reportage per raccontare la realtà economica, di territorio e d'impresa della camorra e della criminalità organizzata in genere.

Dalle prime minacce di morte del 2006 da parte dei cartelli camorristici, denunciati nel suo "expose" e nella piazza di Casal di Principe durante una manifestazione per la legalità[1], Roberto Saviano è sottoposto a un serrato protocollo di protezione. Dal 13 ottobre 2006 vive sotto scorta

Numerose le sue collaborazioni con importanti testate giornalistiche italiane ed internazionali. Attualmente in Italia collabora con L'espresso e La Repubblica, negli Stati Uniti con il Washington Post, il New York Times] e il Time, in Spagna con El Pais], in Germania con Die Zeit] e Der Spiegel, in Svezia con Expressen e Gran Bretagna con il Times.

Per le sue posizioni coraggiose non sono mancati gli appelli a non lasciarlo solo di importanti scrittori e personaggi culturali del calibro di Umberto Eco

Figlio del medico Luigi Saviano e di Miriam Haftar, ebrea di origine ligure[11], ha conseguito la maturità scientifica a Caserta presso il liceo scientifico statale Armando Diaz e si è laureato in Filosofia all'Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, dove è stato allievo dello storico meridionalista Francesco Barbagallo[12]. Comincia la sua carriera giornalistica nel 2002 scrivendo per numerose riviste e quotidiani tra cui: Pulp, Diario, Sud, Il Manifesto, il sito web Nazione Indiana e per l'osservatorio sulla camorra del Corriere del Mezzogiorno. I suoi articoli sulla camorra sono già allora tanto importanti da spingere l'autorità giudiziaria a sentirlo, nei primi mesi del 2005, in merito al crimine organizzato[13][14]. Nel Marzo 2006 pubblica il romanzo non-fiction Gomorra. È autore insieme a Mario Gelardi dello spettacolo teatrale ed è sceneggiatore del film tratto dal suo romanzo. Il 10 dicembre 2009, alla presenza di Dario Fo, riceve il titolo di Socio Onorario dell'Accademia di Brera e il Diploma di Secondo Livello in Comunicazione e Didattica dell'Arte honoris causa, massimo riconoscimento dall'ateneo pari a una laurea magistrale. Saviano dedica i riconoscimenti ai meridionali di Milano. Il 22 gennaio 2011 l'Università di Genova ha concesso la laurea honoris causa in Giurisprudenza "per l’importante con­trib­uto alla lotta con­tro la crim­i­nal­ità e alla difesa del prin­ci­pio di legal­ità nel nos­tro Paese"

Dunno WTH the title is about. New painted nails. :D :D It's black. I think black suits me, even in clothes. :D I love black. Heee.

So I lied when I said Ivy was my last Batman villain fig. I still wanted to make this guy, and I have another one on the way.

Professor Pyg is on of my favorite Batman villains, so I knew I would have to make him eventually.

However, I did not make this one alone, as I commissioned the head piece from Jaymes.

Starting with the head, the mask was sculpted over a Lego hairpiece out of Procreate. The eye holes were hollow, and I added a piece of electrical tape inside and painted the eyes onto that.

The torso was all painted by me.

The sleeves on the arms are electrical tape, and the tan parts are painted. The tops of the yellow gloves are the tops of 2 yellow minifigure.

His apron was made from clear scotch tape, white computer paper, and electrical tape.

His legs are just dark brown with the belt and shoes painted on.

I really like how this one came out, and it is by far one of my favorite figures I have made out of this Batman villain series.

Polaroid SX-70 Sonar with Impossible PX680 beta test film & ND pack filter

I think this is probably my best PX680 shot so far ... I haven't quite found my groove with this film, but I love it nonetheless!

This is not a new technique. Have seen a lot with rings. Thought of using my lens filter for the same.

At shark fin cove along the Hwy 1 coastline. It was low tide. The sunset was a nice one.

we were feeling lazy, so we went to get some food at the Beach Chalet this evening. had the crystal ball in the bag.. had planned to use it for another shot today.. but that didn't happen. so it goes. ;)

Inside courtyard view of the Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram (which means “the Monastery of the fifth King near Dusit Palace”) which is a Buddhist temple in the Dusit district of Bangkok Thailand. It is also known as the marble temple. It is one of Bangkok's best-known temples and a major tourist attraction. It typifies Bangkok's ornate style of high gables with stepped-out roofs and elaborate finials.

Construction of the temple began in 1899. It is built of Italian marble. The cloister around the assembly hall houses 52 images of Buddha. Bangkok Thailand

I forgot about this project I was working on. Time to pick it up again.
