Resident Input Needed for Future Parks Projects;
Take an Online Survey by Feb. 25
Preserving Missouri City's pristine parks and planning for future recreational green spaces is a priority for City Council, citizens and staff.
As part of the City's commitment to parks' projects, staff is currently reviewing the Parks and Recreation Master Plan to identify areas for growth and development. Resident input is needed for the process, which will help define "priorities for parks, recreation facilities, trails and open spaces for the next five to ten years," said Larry Foos, Director of Parks & Recreation.
Please click here and provide your feedback via a short survey; answers will remain confidential. The deadline to participate is Feb. 25. Citizens who respond will qualify to win a one-month membership pass to the new state-of-the art Recreation and Tennis Center at 2701 Cypress Point Dr. (five passes will be awarded) or the grand prize-a Kindle Fire tablet.
For updates, visit the City website: www.missouricitytx.gov or watch Missouri City Television (Ch. 16 on Comcast and Ch. 99 on AT&T U-verse).
We look forward to hearing from you!

Generative recipe. Take any kind of data, any boring piece of math trivia, a seemingly useless technique from an unrelated field. Trim, boil, simmer, reduce. Repeat 2. Nothing is safe,…

I've been asked to do Senior photos and my lovely assistant here, my beautiful niece stepped in on Sunday and did some shots for me in my mother in laws back yard. I have much to learn by July 31 and so many of you are wonderful photographers and have wonderful ideas. So please leave some instructive advice on some things to do better.

Customer input helped create this piece. With limited space, they needed a cabinet to house their TV, DVD and other electronics as well as wood storage for their fireplace. Painting requests were incorporated as well. The wood storage area is metal lined for protection of the cabinet interior. We welcome your design ideas and pride ourselves in being good listeners.

The 2x4 Atlona HDMI Matrix Switcher with RS-232 and IR Remote is designed to work as a switcher for multiple sources and displays. With a maximum bandwidth of 6.75Gbps, this device will support a sharp and highly defined video in multiple resolutions of up to 1080p. Because it is a matrix switcher, it allows any input to be routed to any output; or the same input to be routed to all outputs or any combination. It completely eliminates the need to constantly move around video input and output cables. RS-232 control allows the switcher to be controlled by systems like Crestron or any computerized software/hardware control systems. Atlona's AT-HD-V24M comes with IR remote control as well.

After months of public input, Portland Mayor Charlie Hales and City Commissioner Steve Novick proposed a Portland Street Fund that will more than double the City’s pavement maintenance budget. The Street Fund investments will also make it safer for children to walk to school and for seniors to walk to transit stops, by filling in missing sidewalks and making crossing improvements at dangerous intersections.

This is a pristine card of Key Punch Correction Seals produced by W. H. Brady of Milwaukee in the USA from the late 1960s onwards. The seals were used to correct punched computer cards. Anyone involved with early programming or data input will know and love (!) these seals as an example of computer memorabilia.
