The Colorado Technology Association (CTA) is traveling across Colorado July 20-24 to gather input, listen and learn from tech communities outside Denver and Boulder. CTA’s offices are located in Denver, but members are scattered across the state and CTA staff wants to get to know them better. The primary goal of the Colorado Tech Tour is to gather insight on how the technology industry impacts - or could impact - each local economy.
The Colorado Technology Association will be joined by Colorado Innovation Network (COIN), Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Governor's Office of Information Technology and Go Code Colorado.
Individuals representing a tech company, startup, STEM education program or Colorado innovation are invited to join us. The tour attendees are looking forward to an informative tour of the state, which will allow them the opportunity to connect with new and established companies. During listening sessions, the Denver delegation will meet with community and business leaders to understand challenges and opportunities that exist in each region.
Each day, happy hour events are open to any and all members of the tech community. Join us at a nearby event, or grab some coworkers and make it a road trip! Please RSVP if you plan to join us.
Program speakers include Erik Mitisek, CEO, Colorado Technology Association; Anna Ewing,
Executive Director, Colorado Innovation Network (COIN) and COO, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade; Jonita LeRoy, IT Economic Development, Governor's Office of Information Technology; and Andrew Cole, program manager, Go Code Colorado at Colorado Secretary of State's Office.
The tour is supported by sponsors including Centurylink, Swiftpage, ViaWest, GTRI, NetApp, 23rd Studios and YellowDog Printing and Graphics.

Input:
Can you put your hands on my waistline? (hands on my waistline)
Want your skin up against mine
Move my hips to the baseline
Let me get mine, you get yours (But don’t fall in love)
Hang a ‘please don’t disturb’ sign
Put my back into a slow grind
Sending chills up and down my spine
Let me get mine, you get yours
Put your hands on my waistline (Put your hands on my waistline)
Want your skin up against mine (Ooh, the waistline)
Move my hips to the baseline
Let me get mine, you get yours (Oh, we don’t fall in love)
(Freak my body, baby) Hang a ‘please don’t disturb’ sign
Put my back into a slow grind (Nasty, naughty, babe)
Sending chills up and down my spine (Ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Let me get mine, you get yours (Oo)

The research team is hosting charrettes (facilitated community planning sessions) in New Baltimore, Au Gres, Ontonagon and Pentwater. The communities will undergo a six-month engagement process with the research team. The research team will identify strategies to improve economic, social and environmental sustainability of Michigan’s harbor communities.
Students, teachers, staff and parents had the opportunity to vote for their favorite natural play features in preparation for the design work ahead. Students could vote with 3 stickers each-- on three different elements, or all three on the same element. There was also room to write or draw what you liked about the different features. TUNNELS were the clear winner!
The display hung in a main hallway of the school for a month, and was a great way to raise awareness and enthusiasm for the project.

As a comparison, see lorenzodom alltags page graph (at least 4 to 5 times the complexity, actually looks like much more)

This is the non-pinyin Chinese input method... maybe it's radical-based? Don't know.
NB the odd colouring is from the photo, not on the device itself.

Here you can see how the inputs are switched. It's hard to get both tracks visible with only one eye (the camera, in this case) but from far enough away you can see a tinge of blue on the inside of the right eye hole, and one of red on the opposite side. So, does it work?
Well, when you look through it it takes a bit of effort to focus on anything at first. I was very conscious of the fact that I had to cross my eyes further to see things that were farther away, which was awkwardly opposite to normal experience. However, this did not necessarily in itself create a real illusion of inverted depth. Unfortunately, there are a myriad of cues which your brain uses to calculate depth - objects overlapping, objects larger or smaller than expected, shadows of objects crossing over others, and even general dimness of farther-off objects when in even lighting. When all of these are removed from the equation, however, it DOES work! I tested it by stapling four strips of paper together at both ends, creating a small spherical mobile that can spin when hung. When looking through my device, the strips at the back (which are visible through the gaps between those in front) appear to be in front, and vice versa. This creates a very convincing illusion that it is spinning in the opposite direction than it actually is. I actually thought it wasn't working at first, so sure was I that I was seeing it spin normally. Upon closer inspection, the strips at the "back" of it can be seen to suddenly cross in front of the other strips when they overlap as it spins. Very bizarre.

Generative recipe. Take any kind of data, any boring piece of math trivia, a seemingly useless technique from an unrelated field. Trim, boil, simmer, reduce. Repeat 2. Nothing is safe,…

Customer input helped create this piece. With limited space, they needed a cabinet to house their TV, DVD and other electronics as well as wood storage for their fireplace. Painting requests were incorporated as well. The wood storage area is metal lined for protection of the cabinet interior. We welcome your design ideas and pride ourselves in being good listeners.

"Volver
con Ella"
Hola, mi nombre
es Andrés
Cazares, Fuiste
todas esas frases pre-hechas.Y Creame... Lo Entiendo Perfectamente!
