This stuff spins FAST! Nearly filled a bobbin last night. I'm not used

to that; given that I'm usually spinning fine angora singles that take

awhile to fill the bobbin.

  

The first row of blocks went down on Day 4 - set in about 1.5 feet of footing for the wall. The rebarb is in there, and all the blocks and caps are stacked for use.

I have been re-learning how to embroider, with lots of help from Stitch School at primrosedesign.blogspot.com.

It's hard to see but the the one on the left is a lovely print of a redwood forest. I plan to re-frame it in black - or maybe brushed aluminum?

The ribbing for the back. I started out on US8 and after 12 rows switched to US7 because my gauge was a bit loose. I think this will work out just fine -- I could use a bit more room at the hip anyway, AHEM.
