I'd like to throw an informative expression
One's academic qualification is not one's profession
Please accept my sincerest apology
But medicine is different from virology
Yeah, they're indeed related, I bet
Just like a car and a carpet
Anyway, all this has little to do with either
The matter, in fact, is related to neither
It's been always about power and politics
To cripple already impaired economics
Normal is normal, 'tis not what you’re told
’Tis neither new, nor something old
They used to say, fortune favours the bold
Not any more, the selves are somewhat sold
Anyway, I gotta go; I've a vote to cast
Like, from my mind, they've erased the past
'Tis only started, so just behold
Many other farces you'll be told
You would believe each to be truer
The same Big Brother will be the brewer
The fortified early Gothic church from the first half of the 14th century was built on the site of an older building. In the 15th century it was fortified with a wall and a wooden bell tower was built on the grounds in 1657. The single-nave space with a square-ended presbytery and a built-in sacristy has a painted cassette ceiling from 1758, the presbytery is characteristic by its rib vault. The mural paintings date back to the 60s of the 14th century and the creator of at least a part of them is the Master of Ochtiná presbytery. These interior frescoes were discovered in the early 20th century by I. Huszka who was restoring them in 1905. All the paintings, interior and exterior ones, were completely restored between 1983 and 1985 by J. Josefík, L. Székely and I. Žuch.
Within the almost intact medieval church, the murals have a uniquely strong impression and informative value, thanks to their scale and complexity of preservation. Thematically they focus on individual scenes from the Marian and the Passion cycle, but they do not have a uniform concept unlike the upper belt on the nave’s northern wall with a complete depiction of the St. Ladislaus legend.
The connection between these two leaders is becoming more apparent. Recently the CIA has discovered Russian interference in the election, in Trump's favor of course. Where all this could lead is frightening to imagine. No country will be safe.

This splendid Caspian Pink owes its existence to the wise advice of Mrs Doreen Wallace.
Her practical and informative book is made more charming by the dust jack art of the inimitable Sir Brian Cook (Batsford).
In August 2015 I was on my island of dreams - La Palma, after a really informative guided tour over the area with many observatories there was a tour in the GTC. A truly moving experience. I have never been so close to heaven.
The Gran Telescopio Canarias (GranTeCan or GTC), also known as the Great Canary Telescope is a 10.4 m (410 in) reflecting telescope located at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory on the island of La Palma, in the Canaries, Spain.

Wonderful informative video about these traditional, beautiful, family owned bakeries. "1978 : Dans les boulangeries historiques de Paris" youtu.be/XW63Dqg5IgI
"The Bakery on the Corner". A most beautiful French bakery, near Bastille, where - last time we visited the city - we enjoyed buying our favorite baguettes, the 'bazinette' freshly and lovingly made every day by the artisan baker L. Bazin. Apparently the bakery has now changed hands and is called Boulangerie Bo.
The building is historic, thankfully preserved despite the constant pressure in most cities of the world to replace and rebuild. (In fact there was construction going on next door as can be seen by the scaffold and plastic.) Happily this architectural gem still exists.
And here, as I positioned myself for the 'portrait' of the facade (see that photo below in my comments), it seemed as if two completely different French generations and cultures appeared suddenly at the same time. Loved the elderly couple stopping to look longingly in the window, contrasting with the hurried pace of the young woman on the other side. The 21st century is here. Must move! Must go! Must hurry! Meanwhile, I stand quietly and patiently, very carefully go "Click!" to catch the scene.

The tours are well organized and prepared for emergencies. They have procedures to evacuate tourists for emergencies or claustrophobic anxieties. They DO NOT ALLOW tripods, monopods, or selfie sticks. They have apparently had problems with tourists.
This is an amazing place. Every turn shows a new amazing, colorful, glowing, canvas. It was easy to take lots of photos. The tough part was culling the photos when I got home.
There were 9 people (representing 4 families) and a guide in our group. The tours are a little under an hour from start to finish. We were the first of 4 or 5 groups in our time slot. The sent us in about 10 minutes apart. The guide is very informative and educational. There was some pressure to keep the group moving. The guide was helpful and took pictures of the families several times during the tour.

The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdez twazi’, which means “the spiral role arches.” Lower Antelope Canyon is about 3, 704 feet in elevation and the canyon walls are about 120 above the streambed. This canyon is more narrow to walk through, as it’s shaped like a “V”, so if you are claustrophobic this area is not for you. It goes into the slot canyon and have to maneuver thru closely on stairs, which is harder to walk through. This area is also located within the Le Chee Chapter of the Navajo Nation, near Page, Arizona.

We came upon a sheep farm in our travels last Sunday. It just so happened that the owners came up the road and there we were trying to get some nice shots of their sheep. Instead of chasing us off they invited us in and gave us a very informative "tour" of their sheep! They are sheep breeders and their sheep get shipped all over the US continent and some overseas also. The sheep used in the sheep shearing photo that I shared some time ago were from this farm. What a small world we live in to be sure. On a back, gravel road in Virginia to the world! :)
Our photo club had a presentation at our last zoom meeting. Luba Citrin was the presenter and she was very inspiring and informative. This image was inspired by one of hers.

Clonmacnoise is a the site of an ancient monastic village near Athlone, Ireland. It was begun in the 6th Century by St Ciaran. Today, visitors can see the remains of the many churches, graves and two round towers. We visited yesterday and enjoyed the informative guided tour.

This Merlin was one of those many southbound hawks unfortunate enough to be waylaid on her journey and used for an informative banding demonstration at Cape May, agitatedly voicing her protest the entire time. After her release, she shot up to the flagpole, where she gathered her wits and dignity about her and conjured up a crowd in the way perched raptors often do before heading on her way.
A Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus) poses at first light on a beach along the Mid-Atlantic coast. These stunning birds have been seen way farther south than usual this winter (here is an informative article on irruptions: www.projectsnowstorm.org/what-is-an-irruption/). I was thrilled to finally make the trip to see one. It was well worth the early wake up call and long drive. When I arrived at the location where one had been seen, I spent a lovely afternoon watching and photographing it. The next morning, I returned just as the sun peeped over the horizon. I adjusted my exposure to compensate for the soft light, and was happy to capture the dawn glow I was looking for. I was also careful to not disturb the bird when photographing and observing it. I did not harass, bait, set up, or call-in the owl.

These beautiful birds have been seen way farther south than usual this winter (here is an informative article about this year's irruption: www.audubon.org/news/hold-your-bins-another-blizzard-snow...). I was lucky enough to photograph this Snowy in December on an extremely cold day. When I took this photo, all my extremities were numb! I was very careful to not disturb the bird when photographing and observing it. I did not harass, bait, set up, or call-in the owl.
a perhaps more informative image of the waterfall, given that it's regular stop for HUGE numbers of tourists here in Iceland -- always a big crowd
and increasingly, the question becomes, how many is too many?

info photo:
• 4k • This shot above was taken with my own photo-suite V4 { which is now released, based upon advanced filmic tonemapping, Reinhard tonemapping curves, auto exposure, non-uniform random organic film grain [ granularity ] emulation, fast -Hue Brightness Contrast Saturation- control & more } • ReShade 4.5.2

info photo-suite
"ALPHA Photography Suite 2020"
Hello & welcome, I've divided this into 5 sections:
[ 1 ] - Features + Some background info:
[ 2 ] - Based upon
[ 3 ] - CREDITS to the original base code writers
[ 4 ] - Informative reads about Filmic Tonemapping, Analog Photography, Film-Grain & Kodak
[ 5 ] - The "ALPHA Photography Suite 2020"-code
[ to see some examples of this shader suite in use: you can always visit flickr.com/people/alpha-neo-noir-v2/ ]
-
[ 1 ] - ALPHA Photography Suite 2020 - features:
- Advanced Filmic Tonemapping [ Settings like Linear White Point Value, Exposure, Shoulder & Toe Strength, Linear Angle etc will be at your disposal // "A filmic curve has three parts, a linear section, a shoulder, and a toe. The short version is that a toe gives you crisper blacks, a shoulder gives you a softer transition to your overexposed highlights, and the linear section should look relatively unchanged." ]
- Non-uniform Random Organic Film Grain [ granularity ] Emulation, this analog film grain emulation includes many finetuning settings. [ Film grain or granularity is the random optical texture of processed photographic film due to the presence of small particles of a metallic silver, or dye clouds, developed from silver halide that have received enough photons. While film grain is a function of such particles [ or dye clouds ] it is not the same thing as such. It is an optical effect, the magnitude of which [ amount of grain ] depends on both the film stock and the definition at which it is observed. Digital photography does not exhibit film grain, since there is no film for any grain to exist within. ]
- Automatic adjustments to Film Grain depending on screen luminance [ Screen area whose average brightness triggers adaption. 1 to 7 // 1 = only the center of the image is used // 7 = the whole image is used ]
- Natural / organic looking film-grain with protection for the high & low levels [ the distribution of the naural-looking grain should be more prominent on the mid-tones and it should became lesser visible approaching white and black, but you can change this approach with the available finetuning settings ]
- Automatic exposure [ so no eye-burning / overexposed skies ]
- 15 presets with B/W Camera Film emulation [ like the beloved Kodak Tri-X ]
- Fast -Hue Brightness Contrast Saturation- control
-
Some background info:
As an extra this "5 shaders into 1" is faster [ total performance impact hitting around 1 to 2 fps ] than the total of 5 single shaders being used / stacked.
First of all, I'm not a hlsl-code writer nor [ want to ] pretend to be, this "ALPHA Photography Suite 2020" shader is based upon 5 main shaders, a compilation of 5 main existing shaders, which through an extensive time of trial & error is modified & tweaked, layer after layer.
As an huge long-term photolover of classic b/w [ analog ] grainy photography & always in search of the perfect holy grain [ to be honest most times I truly dislike the defaults forced-looking grain in games & disable the defaults distracting grainy awfulness, most UE4-based games have it enabled by default though this can be changed by altering the file Engine.ini and with r.Tonemapper.Quality=3 [ 3 or lower for removing film grain; 5=max ] and r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0.
I've put some serious love into building this suite, I had a great time doing it & hope you like it too & to be useful for your future endeavours for making some excellent screenshots.

Shepherd's Bush Pavilion Hotel was my final stop during September's Open House Weekend, and in many ways the most insightful and informative. Several architects from Flanagan Lawrence carried out in-depth tours of the building, describing the company's ambitions while designing the hotel, as well as the immense challenges that sprang from converting a Grade II-listed building from the derelict remains of the original 1920s cinema and the subsequent 1980s bingo hall.
The chance to photograph the hotel's six-storey curved atrium was one of my main reasons for visiting the location, and by the time the tour had finished and the sun was setting, the lights inside the hotel had begun to be switched on, and the glass-reinforced gypsum panelling surrounding the atrium had been illuminated with a rich golden glow.
The image was blended from several exposures, predominantly to recover the shadows and emphasise the texture of the art-deco panelling, but also to bring out the detail within the sky above the atrium, which had developed a deep, vibrant hue as sunset gave way to blue hour.

One of the many informative displays... "they" were also not alone...
Bergen-Belsen began as a camp for Allied prisoners of war. After it was turned over to the SS, it became a Nazi concentration camp in 1943. Beginning in fall 1944, the SS deported to Bergen-Belsen large numbers of prisoners evacuated from Nazi camps further east.
As a result of overcrowded and horrific living conditions, where disease and starvation flourished, tens of thousands of people imprisoned there died. Anne Frank was one of the people deported to Bergen-Belsen.
On April 15, 1945, British forces liberated Bergen-Belsen. The British found around 55,000 prisoners in the camp, many of them seriously ill.
Thousands of corpses lay unburied on the camp grounds. Between May 1943 and April 15, 1945, about 37,000 prisoners died in Bergen-Belsen. More than 13,000 former prisoners, too ill to recover, died after liberation. After evacuating Bergen-Belsen, British forces burned down the whole camp to prevent the spread of typhus.

If you were not convinced yet why you should become vegetarian in the South, this photo should.
Not for the beauty of the shot but quite more functional informative, you should know that there are not so many frigs in the South so the meat is slaughtered and sold as fast as possible before it's eaten by all the flies. It is even worse in Chennai on the fish-market, walking there you get the flies all over you.
On top you don't need the proteins because it is very hot here and soon you will get intoxicated by consuming too much of proteins, your lever just can't cope with it, you get ulcers on most unexpected places like above the eyes, I had once, doctor’s advice: eat vegetarian and within a few days it was gone.
A lot of Kashmirian people here, runaways from war, mostly business-men, still eat a lot of goat or sheep as they bring along their food habits from the North. Often they get ulcers too.
No clients for the rest of goat hanging there he repaired his chain.
Awesome experience to see this massive display. The presentation was very informative and one of the best that I have seen.
When 'Yes' becomes 'No' (And vice-versa)
Today has sprung a surprise
a leak
to which nothing seems able
to stop the demise
an implosion so bleak
Help is the left hand
that doesn't seem right
such unfamiliar penmanship
like a foreign land
that doesn't seem quite
Yesterday seemed in full agreement
a winning ticket to trust
with the care of Summer
an affectionate twist so vehement
seeking a cure for fateful thrust
If today is God-given
then let it pray now
for my faith in tomorrow
has all but ebbed presently unforgiven
it's fastidious aura without a vow
Compounding the bloody malaise
breaking every rule of thumb
with bone-crunching efficiency
I enter it's damnable phase
with the shape of things to come...
Monday, Monday is the next target
always there to reimburse the weekend
for emotional debts accrued
via the informative tell-tell nugget
better known as the spine-chilling dead end
That comes with hope's overspend,
only pain for pain seems able to balance these books
into one voluminous relict
from where a thunderous preface does portend
the lost plot for which survival now looks.

I got a nice low angle and tried to incorporate the Phragmites grasses into this shot. I liked the texture they created for the background. If you have never heard of Phragmites, they are non-native reeds that are all too common along the Eastern seaboard. Here's an article about them: www.chesapeakebay.net/S=0/fieldguide/critter/phragmites

Review by Jamie, Philadelphia, PA - “Fantastic and informative day photographing the city! I recently took one of Leanne’s NYC street photography courses and I can’t say enough about Leanne and the class! Our group spent the day shooting a variety of unique locations in the neighborhoods of El Barrio and Harlem, and the instruction and insight provided was well worth the price of admission. Leanne was great at tailoring guidance to photographers of all levels all the while offering personal insights on the locations and venues we shot. In addition, it was simply a fun way to spend the day in NYC. I came away with newly-discovered and applied knowledge of street photography techniques and made some new international friends and contacts at the same time. I highly recommend taking one of Leanne’s street photography courses if you have the chance!” – Jamie, Philadelphia, PA. www.shootnewyorkcity.com/reviews/2017/5/3/review-by-jamie...
