Given the opportunity to shoot from tho vintage point with some of my close friends, thanks god I bring my dslr. This is using my beloved NEX-6, single exposure. Im truly surprised on the dynamic range of this tiny mirrorless camera.
We are staying at Hotel Catalina Beach Resort on Playa la Ropa on Zihuatanejo Bay. Room #35 as usual. This would the the Catalina's small infinity pool overlooking Zihuatanejo Bay.
I thought the uncropped version of this shot of the infinity pool at the Paloma Club Sultan was one of my favourite shots from my trip to Turkey last week, but a square crop and bit of extra contrast later and now I have a new front runner. Think it's quite possible one of the most beautiful photos I've taken.....

Maspalomas liegt an der Südspitze der kanarischen Insel Gran Canaria, an der Küste des Atlantiks. Im südöstlichen Teil wird der Ort durch die Dünen von Maspalomas vom Meer getrennt. Maspalomas besteht zum Großteil aus Ferienanlagen und der dazugehörigen Infrastruktur.

Phú Quốc is the largest island in Vietnam. Phú Quốc and nearby islands, along with the distant Thổ Chu Islands, are part of Kiên Giang Province as Phú Quốc City, the island has a total area of 574 km2 (222 sq mi) and a permanent population of approximately 179,480 people. Located in the Gulf of Thailand, the island city of Phú Quốc includes the island proper and 21 smaller islets. Dương Đông ward is located on the west coast, and is also the administrative and largest town on the island. The other ward is An Thới on the southern tip of the island.
Its primary industries are fishing, agriculture, and a fast-growing tourism sector. Phú Quốc has achieved fast economic growth due to its current tourism boom. Many infrastructure projects have been carried out, including several five-star hotels and resorts. Phú Quốc International Airport is the hub connecting Phú Quốc with mainland Vietnam and other international destinations.
Phú Quốc lies south of the Cambodian coast, south of Kampot, and 40 kilometres (22 nmi) west of Hà Tiên, the nearest coastal town in Vietnam. Roughly triangular in shape the island is 50 kilometres (31 mi) long from north to south and 25 kilometres (16 mi) from east to west at its widest.
Watching the sun set from the edge of our Infinity Pool in the Maldives was one of our favorite things to do on our honeymoon.

The Infinity Pool at the Marina Sands Hotel/Casino in Singapore is quite amazing. It overlooks Marina Bay and the the central business district, and it appears that you could just swim off the edge of this 57 story building. I caught this sunset with my friend William last week.
