In this sanctuary of stone and water, time slows to a tranquil pace, allowing one to reconnect with the essence of the earth. The natural infinity pool stands as a testament to the beauty of untouched landscapes, where each ripple on its surface reflects the timeless harmony between human spirit and wild majesty.
I visited this place 3 times last week & each time the sky was different but the water was like glass so it is nice to make the most of the reflections.

We have had rain in the forecast for the better part of a month, but that didn't stop 15 people in Santa Barbara from celebrating the wedding of Diana & Matt. Modeled after my more famous elopement years earlier, we traveled to various spots in the city to capture them all together.
Our final stop was at an infinity pool at El Encanto Resort. The storm broke, and I hustled them out there before the showers started up again.

Unfortunately the Sands Infinity Pool is out of bounds for visitors in spite of the S$20 admission fee. It would be nice if you could tread to the edge and grab a shot from there.

Night out with Toshio who was back on a visit to Singapore recently. We were very lucky to get a nice setting that evening. One of the staff told us it was the best sunset experience they ever had since its opening.
As some of you have noticed, a good friend of mine Daniel was in town for few days. Like always, it was only fitting to go up to Kuala Lumpur's vantage points - with the help of local friends off course!

This is the infinity pool at the Angsana hotel in Corfu. It lives up to it's name early in the morning when it is hard to tell the difference between the pool and the ocean.

The stunning infinity pool of the Paloma Club Sultan hotel formed a great backdrop for the in-house photographer to take photos of guests at sunset. I took the opportunity to poach a few shots myself, some of which like this one are some of my favourites taken during the trip to Turkey.

I've come to the end of my current London uploads so there will now commence a short series of pretty random uploads from reworked and rediscovered shots from the archives.
I'll start with this almost abstract shot of our Turkish hotels infinity pool and then the Mediterranean beyond.
With the processing I've tried to enhance the grain and texture of the sky and pool to emphasizise the 'flatness' of the image. Removing the colour was intended to increase the abstraction by removing the blueness of the image.

Last month I had a week in Spain, down on the southern coast between Algeciras and Tarifa. The cottage has an infinity pool overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar towards Morocco. It’s one of the best views I know!
Here's a shot of the infinity pool, and then a blanket of sea mist over the Straits, with the twinkling lights of Morocco and the mountain of Jebel Musa on the horizon. Worth getting up early on holiday!

Maspalomas liegt an der Südspitze der kanarischen Insel Gran Canaria, an der Küste des Atlantiks. Im südöstlichen Teil wird der Ort durch die Dünen von Maspalomas vom Meer getrennt. Maspalomas besteht zum Großteil aus Ferienanlagen und der dazugehörigen Infrastruktur.
