This pool is sited on the side of a mountain and just beyond the line of the pool the hillside drops away to the small port town of Soufriere, St. Lucia. The mountains in the distance are the twin peaks of The Pitons.

the infinity Pool at the Marina Bay Sands Skypark.
Was there with the wife & we were fortunate to be able to get to view the pool. From what I understand, the management only aceded to the request to view the pool after 7pm.
We were part of the 1st 1000 visitors to visit the Skypark

Sydney has a new hotel, the first new build luxury hotel in Sydney's CBD since the Westin Hotel opened in 1999 at No 1 Martin Place, and the first since the 2000 Olympics.
The $500 million Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour opened its doors on Tuesday Oct 3rd 2017 for a charity fundraiser but was not opened officially until a few days later, on the 6th October by NSW Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Adam Marshall.
The 590 room 35 level Sofitel Hotel is conveniently located opposite the International Convention Centre and is right in the centre of Darling Harbour with easy access to the city and by ferry to Circular Quay.
The hotel is owned by part-time Sydney cosmetic surgeon and Australia's biggest private hotel owner, Dr Jerry Schwartz with Sofitel Darling Harbour his biggest undertaking to date.
With its infinity pool overlooking Darling Harbour and commanding views over the city, Darling Harbour and west over the Anzac Bridge, the hotel is sure to prove popular with Australian and international visitors to Sydney.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. That's the breathtaking view from the observation deck of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel to the infinity pool which is provided for hotel guests only.
To shoot this photo I had to take about 20 attempts, as it was very windy on the top deck. It was almost impossible to get blur-free photos, even though I had used a tripod. Finally I used a relatively high ISO setting to achieve a faster shutter speed ... this is the result. I hope you enjoy it anyway.
Marina Bay Sands is an Integrated Resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore. Developed by Las Vegas Sands, it is billed as the world's most expensive standalone casino.
The complex is topped by a 340m-long SkyPark with a capacity of 3,900 people and a 150m infinity swimming pool, set on top of the world's largest public cantilevered platform, which overhangs the north tower by 67m.
