Hey, it's LEE BIG STOPPER time! (10 stop ND filter with LEE foundation holder kit)

This was a taken on a typical family vacation day. I was up early, took a solo walk along the beach while hauling my way overloaded photo backpack with attached tripod, then set up to do some photography. Meanwhile, the family slept until my mid morning return. There's something about the morning solitude on a beach that gets my day started on the right foot...

Not of my imagination!

I made the joke earlier in my photostream but I'll make it again ; you can tell this shot of the Paloma Club Sultan Infinity pool was taken at sunset because if it had been sunrise most of the sunbeds would have have towels on them already....... Luckily there were enough to go round but to get a prime spot you had to get out early, very much a case of the early bird catches the sunbed.

It was a tough decision, hang around Crested Butte with fields of wildflowers waist deep or four wheel up to Paradise Divide for a sunset with the forecast calling for heavy rain. There was a black ominous sky heading our way. I went for Paradise and it was raining when we got there. I took a few lousy shots using an umbrella. Hung around for a couple hours. Then the sky broke and the late afternoon light came streaming in across the pond!.....what a fantastic place!!
