Finished the colour test model for my Infinity Haqqislam squad. She's a standard Ghulam Light Infantry trooper.
Typically, I got kinda carried away and spent longer than intended on her. I just can't help myself!
Quite pleased with the rusted green metal bits on the base, though the photo angle doesn't highlight them particularly.

Infinity Sign Tattoo
Infinity tattoos are steadily on the rise with many people opting to get these in one form or another.
The infinity symbol, often used in mathematics, represents a never-ending loop and is depicted as a number 8 on its side. In the tattoo world, this can be seen as a symbol of never-ending or limitless possibility. Some cultures also believe it to represent rebirth or reincarnation.
Historically, this symbol is similar to mythological creatures such as Ouroboros; the snake which consumed its tail and became a creature without end. Often when people get their infinity tattoo, for this reason, they are showing that they are both into mythology and that they like the creatures that the symbol represents. These aren’t the deepest meanings for the infinity tattoo, but they can always attach more meanings to the design later on.
The endless loops and circles that comprise the infinity symbol can also be likened to the seasonal cycle which endlessly repeats year after year.
In this way, the infinity tattoo could mean that the person wants to keep their eye on the ball no matter what time of year it is. It could also mean that they don’t necessarily have a favorite season. But instead choose to enjoy their lives regardless of the time of year it currently is.
These infinity tattoos, while simple, can be customized in a variety of ways.
Popular choices for this type of tattoo include a word or phrase. Inside the loop, such as “love”, “life” or “friendship”.
These, of course, signify a relationship that will never end. And are often used as matching tattoos for two or more people.
One can even add additional symbols such a hearts, stars or other embellishments. To add to the flair of the design.
The fact is that the infinity symbol itself is a bit bland unless holds a lot of meaning to you.
so many people decide to surround it with other images that make the meaning come to life a bit more.
As always, it comes down to the tastes of the person getting the infinity tattoo.
If they are able to find a design that works well with the infinity symbol.
‘Infinity’ is an immersive environment project by Refik Anadol. Project is an integral part of artist’s ongoing ‘Temporary Immersive Environment Experiments’ which is a research on audio/visual installations by using the state called immersion which is the state of consciousness where an immersant’s awareness of physical self is transformed by being surrounded in an engrossing environment; often artificial, creating a perception of presence in a non-physical world.
In this project ‘infinity’ chosen as a concept,a radical effort to deconstruct the framework of this illusory space and transgress the normal boundaries of the viewing experience to set out to transform the conventional flat cinema projection screen into a three dimensional kinetic and architectonic space of visualisation by using contemporary algorithms.
Light is the major element in the experiment, used to blur and interconnect the boundaries between the two realms actual/fictional and physical/virtual. It signifies the threshold between the simulacrum space created by the projection technology, and the physical space where the viewer stands. The experiments will discuss the inherent spatial qualities of immersive virtual environments and their effect on the embodied person. Through the presented framework, the experiments intends to question the relativity of perception and how it informs the apprehension of our surroundings. Rather than approaching the medium as a means of escape into some disembodied techno-utopian fantasy, projects sees itself as a means of return, i.e. facilitating a temporary release from our habitual perceptions and culturally biased assumptions about being in the world, to enable us, however momentarily, to perceive ourselves and the world around us freshly.
Exhibition at Artnivo’s ’40 Meters 4 Walls 8 Cubes’ in collaboration with Istanbul Biennial at Zorlu Performing Art Center.

The Villa has a swimming pool facing the ocean and have the sunrise view. The sides of the infinity pool are set up with cushioned beach beds + parasols and is directly connected to the lower sun deck.
probably the best spot to relax and enjoy a truly amazing view at the world's largest infinity pool located 200 meters above ground and on the 56th floor of the new marina bay sands in singapore.

Infinity (symbol: ∞) is a concept in many fields, most predominantly mathematics and physics, that refers to a quantity without bound or end. People have developed various ideas throughout history about the nature of infinity. The word comes from the Latin infinitas or "unboundedness".
In mathematics, "infinity" is often treated as if it were a number (i.e., it counts or measures things: "an infinite number of terms") but it is not the same sort of number as the real numbers. In number systems incorporating infinitesimals, the reciprocal of an infinitesimal is an infinite number, i.e. a number greater than any real number. Georg Cantor formalized many ideas related to infinity and infinite sets during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In the theory he developed, there are infinite sets of different sizes (called cardinalities).[1] For example, the set of integers is countably infinite, while the set of real numbers is uncountably infinite.
With the theme of infinity on my mind, I asked Jim what to do.... and he volunteered to make bread in the shape of the infinity symbol!

I ment FD rather than EF. Using my EdMika EF-FD ultra low profile adapter the FD 600mm f/4.5 and 800mm f/5.6L lenses can reach the ragged edge of infinity focus without this pin removed but in some colder weather the contraction of the lens can pull you away from infinity so this easy reversible mod ensures you can in all conditions. The pin is in there pretty tight and access to the flat slot is poor so I found using needle nose pliers from the side worked best to unscrew.
Rapunzel Infinity Figure
The Rapunzel figure is simply wonderful! She is three inches tall and stands on a cobblestone base. Her hair is made up with flowers from the town "dancing" scene in the film Tangled and she quite literally seems to be dancing with her entire form caught mid-sway. Her face mold is adorable! Not too girly, not masculine, just sweet and carefree.
The plastic is sturdy and feels well built. Almost heavy for a figure this size. If she fell I think she'd be okay.
I don't own the game this toy goes with but I am most certainly collecting these figures!!
